Escape to Lake Glenville

Escape to Lake Glenville in this spacious five-bedroom, four-bath, perfect for large family gatherings or anyone who enjoys lots of space! The property is over an acre privately situated on a west-facing, lakefront point. This home comes with a new boat dock, two-car carport, and ample parking. Enjoy a 270-degree lakefront view with over two hundred feet of lake frontage. Conveniently located on the northeast side of Lake Glenville, you are only a 15 minute drive to Cashiers, shopping, and area attractions. The front door opens into a large, open living room, featuring cathedral ceilings, a stacked stone, wood-burning fireplace, and plenty of comfortable furnishings. Sliding glass doors lead to a private deck overlooking the lake. A generously sized dining table easily accommodates twelve, with extra table seating for four in the kitchen. Doors from the dining room lead to a covered porch with a gas grill and fireplace, perfect for al fresco dining while admiring the spectacular lakefront and sunset views. The spacious primary bedroom is off the living room with its own floor-to-ceiling windows, king-size bed, and palatial bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and double sinks. The second bedroom on the main level also has a king-size bed and adjoins a full bath that doubles as the powder bath. Downstairs there is another large suite with two double beds and private bath with double vanities, a spa tub, walk-in shower with double heads and sliding glass doors leading to the lower level patio running the length of the home. Another guest bedroom downstairs has four extra-long twin beds and views of the lake. There is also a fifth bedroom with a double bed for unexpected guests. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom conveniently located between the two rooms. The lower level completes itself with a gas fireplace, pool table, wet bar, and doors opening up to the lower level patio. Enjoy sunsets in the lakeside gazebo with plenty of comfortable seating. This home features several flat-screen HD TVs, DVD players, Wi-Fi, Sonos wireless music system, iPod docking station, and beautiful landscaping. Sleeps 12 comfortably. Pets allowed with owner approval and a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Holidays are a one (1) week min.

Incredible two story home perched on a point lot overlooking spectacular views of Lake Glenville and the mountains! Great place to unwind, relax and make memories with our family and friends. Great dock for access to the lake and water sports - beautiful hikes around the property. Look forward to doing it again next summer.

We had an amazing stay! The home is perfectly located on the eastern side of the lake, super close to the town of Cashiers and minutes away from a few local restaurants. We loved driving through the farm on our way to and from the house! The home itself has so many wonderful viewpoints. The covered porches were great for storm watching, tea in the morning. The gardens in the property are stunning - butterflies, hummingbirds. Very easy walk to the dock. Just amazing!We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday and it was just the perfect location. We brought our black lab who also had a blast! Eddy was super helpful and responded to all of our questions promptly! Although we honestly had no issues at all! It’s a special home. Highly recommend!!

Great location and dock

House layout was great, but showing age. Dock and decks were highlights. We enjoyed our stay but wish the kitchen had been better equipped and grill had been larger and in better condition to cook for a large group. All in all, nice house, good location.

Wonderful stay!

The home is beautiful and has a nice deep water dock. You have everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The location is wonderful and views from everywhere. I do think they need to put some nice outdoor furniture on the lower porch and it would be nice to have a chair or two for the dock. The home has a great recreational space that is not shown in the photos but is filled with games, puzzles, and a nice pool table. The property is very easy to maneuver. They are very kind to open it up for your dogs and that was so nice. We would definitely book again! Thank you so much!

House is beautiful & welcoming. You feel at home when you walk in. Kid & dog friendly with all the wooden gates. The slope and stairs to the water is a killer if you're over 50. All this house needs is an outside fire pit & a jacuzzi. All the fireplaces are gas so you can't make smores or smell like burnt wood. The dock is new and you can tell they have put alot into this home. Thank you for letting my family and I enjoy your Lakehouse. 3

Rooms with a View

Fabulous experience all around. Beautiful views throughout the house, multiple spaces for togetherness and privacy, and easy access to Cashiers and Highlands. We particularly enjoyed the porch on the main level for cocktails and conversations every evening.

The walk up from the lake is pretty strenous but you have great views from all over the house. Only one inconvenience, had to go out to store for toilet tissue. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely Retreat on the Lake

We had such an amazing stay at this property. The property is wonderful for multiple families, provides space to gather and have privacy throughout your stay. The views from the inside and outside are amazing, multiple covered areas if it is raining or sunny. The location on the lake is very central, a nice ride to the waterfalls and a great space out front for water sports. The kitchen is well stocked with tools needed for any meal. All the furniture is well maintained and super cozy for relaxing. The water is deep enough at the dock for swimming and storing a boat. The steps up to the house are very nicely maintained but can be steep for some guests, Pine Creek Access Area is very close and can be used to load guests on the boat if the stairs are too steep. We loved our week at the lake and cannot wait to go back. The property management company was very organized and provided everything we needed when it was needed without being asked. Thank you for sharing your home with us!
