We had such a relaxing time. The sound of the water and being able to fish right off the deck was perfect. The cabin is beautiful inside. Was clean and the bed was comfy. Had all we needed to cook inside and outside on the grill. We definitely be going back.

Perfect location with babbling brook going on in River! Perfect cabin vibe house! Sooo inviting! Only thing that needed improvement was water pressure In downstairs shower! Everything else was perfect! I’d stay there again!

Great weekend getaway

Cozy and quaint cabin right on the river. Did some fishing in the backyard and also at Smith Creek in nearby Unicoi State Park. Quick drive from the cabin into Helen for morning coffee and meals. Great place to get away for a few days.

Property needs to be clean and better maintain

Location is great, the river in the back is awesome. But the property is not well maintained or clean, is dusty everywhere and a lot of things broken around including the kitchen pots.

Great house on the river

Beautiful place to stay. But you need to get better mattresses. Both bedrooms. All of us hike and it makes for a long day with no sleep . We would love to come back for a longer stay if the beds were better. And a mouse chewed up my sons backpack. Thank you again

Great place to stay!

This cabin is so nice! We loved the deck overlooking the water. We enjoyed using the fire pit. There is no washer or dryer here. I overlooked that when I booked. There is no curtains for privacy in the bedroom upstairs which is weird because it faces the road. Easy short drive to town. Overall, it was a really good place to stay.

Love Elk Manor

Beautiful well maintained property. Right on River, listen to water, fire pit on River. Comfortable beds! Great place. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and beautiful cabin

This was a wonderful stay and the cabin was prettier in person. It was right off of the river and the outdoor sounds and views were exactly what we needed for a restful vacation. Check-in was easy and everything was exactly as described. Great place to stay while you’re at Helen!

Pretty Perfect!

We loved our stay here. We enjoyed the open floor plan and the amazing views. The boys loved that the river was right there and was easy to access to fish! The grill and the fire pit were great as well. The location was great too! You were a little way out of town but was easy to get back and forth to town. The only thing we thought needed improved was the amount of kitchen utensils (only a couple serving spoons, no spatula, and no can opener). We cooked a lot during our stay. They need to add curtains to the upstairs window for use at night and we wish there would have been a washer and dryer. But the cabin was beautiful and very comfortable! Very peaceful and relaxing a well!

A little bit of paradise!

We really enjoyed the stay here. The cabin is decorated nice. We love reading about "Mouse" and his service. We are hikers and this was close to some really nice hikes. Close to downtown Helen. The best part was relaxing on the deck while enjoying the river. We wished we had booked it for longer.

Very nice place and nice location. Water pressure in the showers wasn't the greatest and had a hard time getting the slider to lock and it may be time to replace the beds you roll to the middle. Other then those small things it was a great place to stay it was our second time in this rental and will most likely return.

Hidden gem

Location, location, locatiooooonnnnn! This property is right on the river tucked away from the crowds! It’s about a 3 minute drive to one of our favorite local attractions (CRT) as well as a county road that is a great “bypass” when you want to avoid downtown traffic (heavy season) to make your way South to Cleavland. The property was clean. The rental company is SUPER accommodating and prompt with replies. Looking forward to our next stay at Elk Manor!
