This is a creekside two bedroom, two bathroom cottage that sleeps 6. Part of Creektown Cottages, a sweet community of 6 cottages. Enjoy your coffee with the sounds of Wolf creek and a view of creek from each bedrooms & living room. Full kitchen, laundry room and queen Murphy bed in the living room. Queen size beds in both bedrooms. All cottages share an outdoor community farm table, and bbq…yet you still have the privacy of your own space. Fully renovated with charming details through out.
Located in the heart of Historic Downtown Grass Valley walking distance to local restaurants, coffee, breweries and grocery stores. Bus line right next door.. Perfect for those exploring the foothills. Great for families, weekend getaways & extended stay for business.
Historic Grass Valley has so much to offer from arts, to music to hiking and water sports. Hosts have gathered local information on things to do and places to go and have binders in each cottage for your use.

Hosts live in the area and they are available by phone or email.

Great stay!

The location was perfect for exploring downtown Grass Valley and the cottage had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Cottage

We had a wonderful time in Grass Valley! The cottage was walking distance from lovely coffee shops, restaurants, and local businesses with unique shopping. We hope to return to this location with more family and friends and take advantage of the outdoor gather space that was designed so well.

Nice Unit, BUT

Everything was nice except the heating units in each room were noisy and not great for sleeping also very few hangers in the closet.

Grandparents traveling with their seven year old grandson. Our little house was clean and charming. It worked perfectly for the three of us. We would return.

Loved this cute cottage. Great location.

The cottage looks brand new inside but still maintains its original character. All of the meals were cooked in the unit and we did not find anything missing. The weather was unseasonably cool so we did not enjoy the outdoor areas but they looked inviting. The location is ideal but there is a small price to pay for the convenience of walking distance to downtown which is occasional road noise from the busier street but nothing excessive. I will definitely return.

Cute cottage, great location

Great location and quaint cottage. My family of four stayed in these adorable cottage to scout out the area for relocation. We were able to distant learning in the morning and explore in the afternoon. Downtown is blocks away and perfect to grab something to eat and walk around. We love the idea of getting extended family together and rent multiple cottages for a weekend away together but in our own spaces.

Grass Valley Glam

Creektown Cottages was a perfect fit for this family of 6! We played hard all day exploring the Yuba River and welcomed the cozy, spacious accommodations to rest and recharge at night. The Joanna Gaines inspired decor was perfect. The beds were comfortable (even the hide-a-bed!). The AC worked perfectly. We were right at home. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back and do it again.

Ideal Getaway Cottage

Beautifully designed, spacious, super clean and brand new, the Dogwood cottage was the ideal spot for our getaway to the Yuba river. Close to everything with easy access to the freeway, air conditioning in every room and a very cool (and comfortable) murphy bed. If you are sleeping in the living room (as I did) it can be noisy (you are right by some busy roads), but I found the sounds of the river just outside the window helped drown out the sounds. There is also a nice area in the middle of the compound for hanging out. The owner gave me some tips for best river spots (he knows the area well!) and I ended up going to the American River on my way home, a stunning spot where I ended up spending several hours in that clear, pure water before heading back to the Bay Area. Also, I had several zoom sessions I needed to do for work and the wifi was excellent. I also liked that there were no keys, a simple code for the door so that the teens and I could come and go without needing to worry about losing a key!

Craig & Lore are long time residents of Nevada County. Both moved here in the 70's and have raised their kids here and are now enjoying grandkids. They love traveling and spending time with their friends and family. As a contractor and Real Estate Agent they have been a great team together...buying and renovating many homes and commercial buildings. These Cottages are one of their many favorites. You will see the pride in their work in every detail through out this property.
