42 Palms is beautiful beach home and only two short blocks from the private deeded beach access.

This four bedroom home has been newly renovated and has it all! Boat wall tie up slips, one 50' and one 20'. Hot tub, private pool, pool table, foos ball and is luxury furnished.

Come and stay at the beach with us at 42 Palms. Sit outside on one of the many decks. Listen to the gulf and feel the salt in the air. You won't be disapointed. 42 Palms is ready for you and your family to enjoy the ultimate Destin vacation.

The home is pet friendly subject to a 25 pound maximum. Outdoor smoking only. Please remember to check our calendar before requesting a reservation.

Great place to stay

This was a beautiful home. Everything you need and more. Canal in your backyard and a quick walk to the beach. We spent some time learning to become better pool players. House is nice to give separate living areas. 2 bedrooms and. 2 bedroom up and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs.

Amazing house

This place has it all. Gorgeous house, very well kept, perfect location. We had the most amazing week and owner was so easy to work with. We will absolutely be back next year!

Great location with wonderful amenities

My husband and I and our young adult children with two friends spent a week in June at this wonderful home. There are many amenities at the home but location also allowed us to enjoy all the local amenities also. Tom, property manager, was very pleasant and helpful and I would highly recommend, this home and him. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation.

Everything you need

Completely comfortable and everything you need for a great vacation. The home has some normal wear for a rental property but overall it’s comfortable. Good walkable neighborhood. Fishing from the dock is excellent. Property management is quick to respond. This was our second visit and plan to return.

Great location. Property needs some TLC

We love the location and size of the property. The bed sizes are good. Washer and dryer worked well. This was our second year staying. Unfortunately, it isn’t maintained as well as it should be. The deck outside is in need of some serious repair as it has cracked and loose boards and is wobbly over the boat slip. The pool was dirty. One shower and sink wouldn’t drain and when we messaged the property manager he dropped off some Draino for us to use, which didn’t work. The furniture wasn’t very clean either. We were told maintenance comes in at the beginning of the season and does a thorough job so everything is in great shape then. I’d recommend they have someone come in mid season to take care of things if that’s the case.

Great Location!

This house met all our needs. We enjoyed the pool and the boat slip was great to have to take our boat out to Crab Island everyday.

42 Palms Did Have It All

Had a few minor issues with the house as normal wear and tear, which we reported. Nothing major though. They place way just as described. Nice house and a nice location. Tom was great and made the process very smooth. Looking at booking next year as well.

Destin vacation

We had a great stay. Location is great- close to everything. Great house, lots of room- pool, hot tub, pool table and on the canal. Communication with Tom property manager was great. I would recommend staying here.

For the money expected better quality

The hot tub was dirty upon arrival, so we never used it. There was a glass cup that was chipped and split which is unsafe, I had to mess with the cable myself in upstairs master bed room to get it to work, the property manager dropped off a universal remote for the spare down stairs bedroom (would have thought everything would have been gone through before arrival), all the bath tubs except the upstairs master bed did not shut the drain off had to use the garbage disposal plug to seal off. The documents that were sent to me did not separate the dates for the recycling from garbage so can was full upon departure, the upstairs master bathroom shower door handle was very loose, also a towel hook cane completely off the wall, the spare kids room upstairs had patch repairs and what looked like water damage to ceiling, also could not open any of the windows for some reason, kitchen could use a pizza cutter. Tried to clean using the vacuum provided turned it on and shot what look liked coffee grounds everwhere, also was packed with dog hair stuck to inside of vacuum. So vacuum was unusable because it was so filthy. Otherwise, house was spacious and accommodating.

Fishing, Grilling & Chilling

Comfortable and spacious, a perfect home for three couples or more. We enjoyed all the outdoor seating and used the pool each day. The property manager was super helpful and always responded quickly. The mattresses were little soft according to our group, but we can’t really complain. Hope to return next summer.

Great setting

House is in a great location. We very much enjoyed the pool and inlet. It’s a short walk or golf cart ride to beach. We did see a few roaches but someone did come to spray. Only complaint is that several people got sick from what we suspect is mold in the house,

Florida Vacation

My Wife and I took the family to Florida for a Vacation. The house that we rented was just what we were looking for our vacation. The family really enjoyed the house, pool and the private beach. Also, the location of the house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Definitely will consider renting the house again when we come back to Florida.

Wonderful socially distanced vacay

We (ages 8-62) greatly enjoyed our stay for spring break. Peaceful neighborhood. Appreciated the golf cart for going to the beach, the beach supplies in the garage and also being able to fish right off of the dock. Kitchen had all needed supplies. Only negative for us adults was that we do not realize the pool is not heated (that was my bad as it is not listed as such) - but the kids did not care and enjoyed the swimming. Great communication from the property manager. We rented a pontoon boat for the day and it was nice being able to come in and out of the house at the dock.

Beautiful property perfect for families

Our family loves to travel. We have seen a lot of properties. And this is an exceptional property. Absolutely perfect location for beach, shopping and dining. The pictures of this property do not do it justice. It’s even bigger and more beautiful in person. It’s a million dollar home surrounded by million dollar gorgeous homes. So worrying about partiers, college kids, etc was a non issue. We were surrounded by other families in a quiet area. I can not recommend it enough. My kids loved taking the golf cart out in the evening just to look at the homes around us. Side note for parents of younger kids. You will love this property because the downstairs is so quiet. You can put younger kids to sleep and they will not be disrupted by noise from upstairs. We put our younger ones to bed and than cranked the music had drinks and played pool upstairs all night! Owner was also very easy to communicate with. Had a couple minor issues that were dealt with immediately.

overall property

this location is great. the house needs some tending to. the first day the kitchen faucet broke. bathroom drains were clogged. pool was never clean it was foggy breakers to golf cart and hot tub were constantly kicking off refrigerator has duct tape holding shelves on tv stations outside of main living area could not get reception shower in master bedroom is a joke overall we had a good time but the house itself was a disappointment

Just what we needed!

We booked this property fairly last minute, due to canceling another reservation that we had at a condo with shared facilities. Having a sizable house plus private pool all to ourselves was exactly what we needed to escape the cabin fever we were experiencing at home due to COVID. I normally insist on a "beach front" property when in FLA. However, the canal view of this home, plus private pool plus nearness to the beach (with golf cart included) turned out to be an enjoyable alternative. Tom was very easy to work with, always accessible and very responsive. Thanks, all! We had a wonderful time and hope to return again someday.
