This new restored cabin located on the Dan River in Madison, NC is simple, affordable, and the perfect vacation. This log cabin sits on 30 acres overlooking river bottoms. The river access is a short 400 yard walk away. The river access can be used for kayaking, canoeing, tubing, fishing, or just sitting & relaxing. The cabin itself is 1000 square feet with a bedroom and bathroom upstairs and downstairs. It has a living room with TV, and a kitchen. Outside there is a charcoal grill and fire pit. If you want a relaxing getaway, this is the perfect place for you.

Awesome private cabin in the woods along the Dan River. Allowed us to enjoy a restful two nights after doing some volunteer work at Camp Carefree. Keith has a premium property in one of the best kept secrets of NC!

Was a great location, the Cabin was awesome and the views are great. Loved seeing the cows as well. Definitely have a place when we come back if it’s available.

The cabin is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The sunrise from the front porch isn't half bad either. We hope to return again this summer.

It was very cozy, serene and peaceful. We really enjoyed how secluded and quiet it was. Loved everything about it except no WiFi, but sometimes I think you need that.

Enjoyable stay

Very quiet peaceful cottage. We were very pleased with our stay. When we were not racing we enjoyed just hanging out at the cabin and enjoying the peacefulness.

Great house. Kitchen could be bigger but i understand. Nice property. Saw deer in the field a couple times. Would recommend placing mats on the floor of the bathroom and moore towels. Great stay.
