I loved every minute of our stay. Breath taking view, quiet and the cabin was great. Everything you would need is there. Rick and his wife where very accommodating.

Beautiful property with view of the mountains pictures accurately describe the property. The host gave accurate detailed description of how to check in and recommendations of activities in the area. We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect related to the wedding venue and an easy drive from the Greensboro airport. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect place for our family Thanksgiving trip. Super clean and comfortable with amazing views. Host left lots of information for the area. We enjoyed visiting Hanging Rock State Park and seeing lots of waterfalls. Not far from Mt. Airy and Pilot Mountain as well. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

If you are looking for a place to relax near Hanging Rock, take in the beauty of the mountains of NC, and do some of the best front porch sitting and taking it easy in a very clean, well kept property then I would book with Rick! He is awesome to communicate with and has a beautiful property that is private with a million dollar view! Go ahead, book and enjoy if you are in the area! You can’t go wrong!

Great stay and everything was comfortable and had beautiful views! Close to many activities. We attended Nascar race in Martinsville. Host was excellent and responds quickly. We would definitely return! Thank you for your gracious hospitality!

Ricks house

I had a great stay at Rick’s home. The place was clean, cozy, and exactly like the pictures. Rick was a very responsive and friendly host who made check-in easy. The location was peaceful, and I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area!

Views for miles!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very peaceful being away from everything. Fabulous views and amazing star gazing at night! We were close to Hanging Rock Park and visited a couple wineries nearby. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Beautiful mountain getaway

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! The location provides a wonderful view of Hanging Rock and sunsets over the ridge. Our kids loved playing outside in the huge yard around the cabin and we enjoyed the outdoor firepit area. The location is very convenient to Hanging Rock State Park and to kayaking on the Dan River! Rick was very responsive and courteous. This cabin is the perfect mountain getaway!

One of the best homestay experiences we have ever had! Beautiful house, with a breath taking view and peaceful surroundings. You could sit outside for hours and have a great time doing nothing but staring at the scenery.Extremely thankful for the gracious host Rick for being clear with his instructions and accommodating with his service. Will come back again!

Special and spacious spot in the foothills

This house/cabin is absolutely beautiful with spacious and gorgeous views of surrounding hills and mountains. We could have spent all our time just enjoying the cabin and it's glorious fields. But we also explored Hanging Rock State Park and Danville, both of which are very close. And we visited Pilot Mountain (town) for dinner at the Tilted Ladder. I can't say enough about the uniqueness of this cabin (almost a lodge). It's so clean and open and welcoming and comfortable. Our host, Rick, was generous and easy to communicate with.

They were very detailed with the rules and procedures, which I very much appreciate. Property was very clean. They had complimentary coffee and tea. They also had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash we could use. The view was absolutely 10/10!

This property has everything! More amenities than you can imagine, mountain views that are second to none, area that is quiet and secluded, town of Danbury that is inviting and friendly, Hanging Rock State Park for hiking, and so much more. The property makes you feel like you're on a farm, including the authentic construction of the house. Inside house has been fully updated so you get the best of both. The host Rick was great! He's very attentive and you can tell put a lot of hard work In this property.
