Great location, view and value...just needed a deep clean

We loved the proximity to the beach and the views from the condo. It is literally only steps from the white sand and water. The location in Sunnyside is quiet without the craziness of PCB proper. We loved it. The furnishing and rugs were pretty and netural/white. While probably high end, they were worn/stained from rental use. The unit was surface clean but the it needed a deep cleaning. There wasn't even a shower liner in the master bath and the unit was missing paper towels and garbage bags. I would not hesitate to stay again if the condo underwent a deep cleaning. Thanks!

Not the best

This property needs a good cleaning. We have stayed at latitude before but this property was not great. Yes the beaches are beautiful and I love being able to walk out directly on the water. The rug in the bedroom was filthy not just sand but really gross and dirty. The couch was the same grimy. Only one eye on the stove worked. The curtains in the living room would not completely close leaving a huge gap at the top. It’s a pain to get in touch with anyone bc iit goes thru Vacasa but that is not a local company or easy to get in touch with. Make sure you get a local contact number otherwise it may be hours and hours before you hear back. Such was the case with us not receiving a parking pass. I don’t like not being able to lock the sliding glass door when going to the beach - while yes convenient but for safety reasons we need to have a locking system.

Missed opportunities

We’ve been staying at Latitude 29 for years. This stay was different. We walked into a dirty condo. Washable covers on the dining room chairs, and couches were badly stained. So much so that we put clean blankets over their couch and chairs to sit on. Black mold in both bathrooms in the grout on the tile. I emailed Vacasa twice and included photos. No call or email back so two days later I called customer service. She offered to send out cleaning crew, but this wasn’t a cleaning crew fix. This was two massive sectionals with removable covers that needed washed or steam cleaned. The mold needed treated and scrubbed. There was also a large pile of someone else’s beach gear thrown in a pile in front of our room that never left the entire time we were there. It’s not kept up the same that it used to be when the original people cared for the property. The cleaning crew is doing the very least to get the condo ready. I paid an abundant amount for a cleaning fee, and it wasn’t to our satisfaction. I was never contacted back or checked in on once after I reported my dissatisfaction. Vacasa you are missing the mark with customer service. Only automated emails like this one to see how our stay was? If I was the owner of this property I would be very unhappy. It is not being cared for properly.

Let 29 #15

Location is everything, love having a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Vacasa was super responsive when issues came up. Unit itself could use a new refrigerator and a few other updates but overall an enjoyable stay.

Great location for family of 4!

We really enjoyed this condo. I was a little nervous about noise or privacy with it being right next to the pool, but the complex was very quiet in September. The location was so convenient with kids. My girls loved the bunk beds with their own TV’s. Would definitely rent this one again! Thank you!

Great Room, not quite 5 stars

The set up (i.e. furniture, kitchen, beds, layout) is the best I’ve been in at Latitude 29. I’ve been going since 1987, and it’s nice to see updates. Now that the office is permanently closed the room was not up to par with essentials. Oven mitts missing (wife burned herself, so we had to buy). Also missing garbage bags, not enough dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper. Not a blanket/quilt to be found. Another item we had to purchase. Not enough plates, glassware and no coffee maker. There was a keurig, but not everyone likes that. Washer/dryer in room was great bonus but please, better equip your kitchen and bedding. Other than that we had an awesome time as always!

Overall a great stay. need to be cleaned better.

Overall a great stay. So think the following need to be cleaned better. Master shower had mildew in it. Washer had mildew on the seal. The cable box in the bedroom didn’t work so couldn’t watch it. Enjoyed the DVR in the living room. There was no tub drain but maintenance brought one thankfully. Plenty of towels. Rug is master is very stained. Would replace soon. Several recessed light bulbs were out. Would stay there again.

Another great stay at latitude!

My family has been staying at Latitude for almost 30 years. This was our first time in 15 and it was amazing. Steps from the pool made it so convenient! Our only issue was with the Sufi the first day but after a phone call, it was resolved super fast.

Beautiful condo, excellent location!

We enjoyed every second of our stay. The room was beautiful. Hooks were everywhere and that helped so much with wet swimsuits and towels. The location to the pool and beach were unbeatable. The condo was clean and well stocked. Tasteful decoration and not crowded with decor leaving room for luggage and plenty of space for our family. The patio was perfect for gathering with our extended family that were also staying at Latitude 29. The grills and tables with grassy areas were inviting and made for nice evening meals. Overall we were so pleased with our stay!!

My favorite unit for the past 25 years!!!

MOLD!

Unit was not properly cleaned. Mold was present in several areas e.g. shower, shower curtain, most AC vents, bathroom door. Have stayed at Latitude 29 for over 25 years and this was the first stay under VACASA management where we had cleanliness problems. Only conclusion is that VACASA does a poor job of overseeing their cleaning team at Latitude 29.

beach, pool, relax extradinaire!

Beautiful spot along PCB and super close to 30A hot spots! Amazing for our sweet family with toddlers to be right next to the pool and the beach within 25 feet of that! The space was amazing! Hard wood floors with perfect sand-friendly jute rugs, beach-inspired aesthetic with cozy couches and plenty of seating. Be sure to pick up a pound of whole beans for the beautiful Breville espresso maker! Bathrooms are a bit rundown with shower heads that definitely could use an update. It would be nice to have a removable shower head to get the kids really clean from being out in the sandy beach. But everything works and definitely not a breaking point to coming back with such a beautiful location! Book our spot on the calendar! We will be back!!

Awesome Family Rental!

This cute little condo was the perfect rental for my family of 4. The proximity to the pool and beach made everything SO convenient, especially with a baby and a toddler. The condo was clean and looks just as pictured. Would definitely stay here again!

Best place to stay

We loved room 15! It was beautiful, classy, and clean! We loved being able to walk right out by the pool. I have been coming here for seven years, and my husbands family has been coming more than 26 years. We will definitely be back and would love to stay in 15 every time!

Beautiful place!

The nicest & most affordable place we have stayed at. It had everything we needed & we loved being able to open the door and we right at the pool. It’s close to PCB but on the quieter side without all the condo chairs/umbrellas that are in the way of the beautiful beach views
