ESCAPE to this 3-bedroom, cozy home! Come inside to a great spacious living, dining/kitchen with two private bedroom areas, (one side has master, and second side has two guest bedrooms both with privacy), washer and dryer! Step outside to the wrap-around deck on private lot surrounded by trees for a tranquil experience (to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine or coffee). This beach house is located in cozy, non-tourist Pine Knoll Shores, so you can enjoy a peaceful vacation. Yet, it is close to the aquarium, dining, nightlife and shopping in Atlantic Beach & Morehead City. Close proximity to beach, causeway and golf course! Bringing Kids is highly recommended, but “NO PETS”!)

Weekend Wedding

Peaceful and Quiet

Home is beautiful and just as described. Would definitely stay there again, very peaceful and quiet. Little bit of a walk to beach access but well worth the walk. At night can sit on front deck and listen to the ocean waves roll in. Couple miles from food store and shopping plaza which was very convenient. Thank You for sharing your home with my family.

Clean, comfortable, close to beach

The property was very clean, beach-y decor (but not over the top), cute, comfortable, well equipped. Beds were comfortable. The house and property both felt very roomy. The property site was large and added to privacy. Nice backporch. The walk to the beach, door to toes in ocean, was about 7 minutes, at low tide. Potential renters should note, however, that half of the walk is down the main road, ie, quite busy, with no sidewalk. For my teen son and I, this was ok during the spring. Families with younger children should know this, especially during busier summer months, when I imagine the highway could be stressful crossing. Overall, very nice stay.

Failure in execution

We arrived at 6:30pm to a property that had not been cleaned and was not terribly dirty but clearly with recent guests. We called the property manager and someone was out to clean within 2.5 hours. It didn’t quite make for a very smooth check-in and both VrBO and the owner said we would be compensated for the delay but then no refunds were ever issued. So it was a failure in execution twice.

Great house for family vacation

The house was great for a family vacation. The number of DVDs was impressive and we enjoyed hanging out in the evenings. Ten minute easy walk to beach. Lovely that it was a community beach and not crowded. Would stay here again.

Very clean and private. Property is a little dated but in very good shape. Not good access to beach if you wanted to go, bit of a walk.

Cozy cottage by the coast

Our stay was great! Within walking distance if a public beach access point with cross walk, if you don’t mind about a mile walk. Having never rented before, I wish I had looked around the house and property when we got there, just so I knew where everything was. My only wish was that the house rules were visible upon entry - they were hidden under some magazines. I would definitely rent this property again!!

It’s a very nice place close to the beach

I’ll be honest, treating it like a hotel rental I did not do my due dilligence and contact the owner for the check in information before I left for the trip, luckily the neighbor has the contact information and I was able to reach the owner and get inside the property. For what it is the place offers you a lot. There is a DVD player and movies for you to watch at night. Personal parking is nice. They have towels laid out for you. There’s plenty of things for you that if you went and got your own food you could have a comfortable and convenient stay if you didn’t want to eat out. The place was clean and the bed were comfortable. I disliked the plumbing job on the toilet in the side set of bedrooms, but other wise the place was great. My family loved it and would love to stay again.

Great Stay!

Perfect family home. The convenient location allowed us to take advantage of the different excursions in the area. The shady yard gave everyone a respite from the sun. The beach cart came in handy for family beach trips.

Just perfect!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! I had 2 elderly family members with me, and it was very easy for them to get around in the house! The decor was beautiful! We loved sitting outside. I have nothing bad to say about the home! The beach access is a little walk but nothing crazy. There weren't a lot of people there which was nice, and they even have a water spout to clean off in the yard before going back inside. The house is so close to everything. We look forward to going back again!

Amazing location!

It was so easy to walk to the beach and the busy road never bothered us. They were very nice when we had questions during our stay. I definitely want to come back at some point!

Salter Path

I stayed there with my sisters who were all there for my grand daughter's wedding. Nice and close to everything. Really nice furniture and beds. Lovely decorations. Amusing birds and squirrels on the large patio!

Family/Friends Get Away

Property was clean and tidy with the calm peaceful setting. The back porch was a great place to wind down the evening and enjoy a movie or music. Home is located equally between great restaurants and communities. Check in/out was easy. With exposed cameras we felt safe leaving our kayaks out front. Would highly reccomend

Loved the house!

This was a great vacation home, very beautiful very clean, and comfortable. Our only complaint is the sheets On the king sized bed were very worn out and came off the bed every time we moved throughout the night. But not a serious problem!

Perfect for a private relaxing beach stay

The property is on a residential street a ten-minute walk from an uncrowned beach but also a short drive from lots of restaurants and things to do in surrounding towns. Hassle-free check-in and check-out. Comfy house

A great stay at salter path cottage

We highly recommend the cottage. The cottage is a short walk to beach access, centrally located for day trips, and well kept. This was a last minute trip and we are so grateful to have found this rental!

Wonderful experience

This was the first time using VRBO or even renting a house! The process was smooth and calm from beginning to end. The home we chose for our family vacation was handicapped accessible and 1 level. It was beautiful decorated and had all the amenities anyone could want. A large wrap around deck that my children loved with a outside shower so you could rinse off before entering the home. There was several public beach access points by foot, as well as handicap accessible parking not more than 5 minutes from the home. Everything about this booking, stay, communication with owners, and checking out was first class. We will definitely be back! ♥️😁🌊⛱
