Very nice and comfortable unit - has all the things you need in the kitchen, bathroom. etc. Plus the area is quiet and secluded.

Elise our host warmly welcomed us when we arrived. And her hospitality and helpfulness continued right up until we left. We loved the atmosphere and would love to stay again.

Wonderful, peaceful cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The kitchen - and actually the entire unit - was fully stocked with every amenity, it was quiet and peaceful, and just lovely in every way.

Great place to stay in San Rafael

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Our hosts were very accommodating to be sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the Bay Area.

A great stay in San Rafael!

ELISE and Paul - your home is lovely and the suite was perfect for our stay. We loved the homey feel and comfy bed as well as the garden just outside out door. You are great hosts and it was so nice to meet you!

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed our stay in San Rafael. Elise and Paul were charming and welcoming hosts. The rental was very clean and nicely decorated. We also enjoyed the garden and they even let us use their bikes to explore the area.

Christmas visit with son and family in San Rafael

This is the second time we've stayed at this lovely place, and we couldn't have been happier. There are amenities galore, the bed is comfortable, and it's quiet, peaceful, and very close to both our son's home and Andy's Market(!). We would both recommend this to anyone looking for a sweet, peaceful, charming place to stay for a night or a week (or longer).

Delightful Interlude

This was the perfect place to be ‘away’ without traveling too far. Charming house, sense of remoteness, but convenient. And a hospitable host!

Great Stay, As Always

We have stayed at this location multiple times in recent years when visiting our children. The location is perfect for us, and is always clean and well kept. The mini kitchen is just what we need, and the garden outside is lovely. Elise and Paul are always gracious and attentive hosts.

Stay on the Bay

The unit was perfect for our short stay. Very clean, very well-appointed for a small kitchen. Had everything we needed The bed is comfortable and the linens nice. Great location for San Rafael and hoping one the bridge into city. We will come back when we need to stay in the Bay.

Wonderful retreat

We stayed for a little over two weeks to accommodate two high school graduations. The property was wonderful, and a nice neighborhood. The owner was very accommodating and the unit has everything you need. Five stars for both the property and the owner.

Beautiful Property

We enjoyed our stay in the cozy apartment on the bay. the were no surprises, we got everything we were expecting, and the neighborhood is very beautiful. Definitely drive up the road to see some amazing views of the north bay.

Charming apartment

“Great vacation cottage”

Comfortable lodging close to Marin outdoor adventures

Just like a home away from home with everything you would want to have to relax after a busy day out enjoying the many outdoor activities available in Marin. We enjoyed two great days of hiking at Mt Tamalpais. Andy's Market is nearby and has an exceptional deli where we picked up the best deli sandwiches to take on our hikes! The Kitchen Table restaurant in downtown San Rafael was also great!

Comfortable

Hostess is very nice. Welcomed us to her place upon arrival but was definitely not overbearing. We were in town for a music event at McNears Beach which was relatively close. Nice upscale neighborhood.
