We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this property for anyone visiting Glacier National Park. The location near the West Entrance made it easy to explore all areas of the park, while still giving us a quiet, secluded place to come back to at the end of the day. We especially enjoyed the peaceful setting surrounded by nature. Communication with the host was excellent, and everything about our stay went smoothly. A great home base for our Glacier trip!

Good place to stay with the family close to GNP

Property listing was very accurate. If you’re looking for close location to GNP west entrance this is it. The beds were super comfortable and the other amenities made our stay enjoyable.

Great place to stay!

This house is on a great property in the woods located within a few minute drive of the west entrance to Glacier NP. It was very clean and had everything we needed including a full kitchen. Highly recommended!

Very Nice!

The place was beautiful and equipped with everything you needed. One of the cleanest rentals I have ever been in. It is unfortunate that the train runs through the town all night, but turning on the fan to drown out the noise definitely helped. Would stay here again!

Awesome and cozy place

Extremely good location among trees and wildlife (spotted many deers around the property). Breakfast in the morning outside on the deck is what we cherished. Very nicely maintained. Proximity to the west glacier and going to the sun road is another plus point. Would whole heartedly recommend it!

3 days in glacier

Elk Crossing was just what we were looking for. Four adults comfortably could visit/eat/sleep/rest here. Kitchen was stocked with nec. for cooking. View was lovely out every window. Bear spray, maps and flashlight were available.

The only thing I would suggest is larger bar of or liquid body soap. Had to purchase our own and coffee. Did not have enough to make one pot

The national park was 5 minutes away, which was convenient for early morning entrance into West Glacier gate. The house was very clean, and the washer and dryer helped! We reported minor issues to the owner and she promptly responded and took care of it, we were only three adults, but could have accommodated 2 more. Only improvement to consider is adding a half bath. I would have loved to soak in that claw foot tub, but there was no stopper to hold water in tub. All in all, a very nice stay for the amount of time spent in the house. National park days are long…

Cozy & private!

We had no problems finding the rental and enjoyed our time there. Very close to the park entrance. The only issue we really had was the challenge in getting up to the rental with a broken foot/boot from the parking spot. The tub was a little challenging, too, but if I had not had the foot issue, I would have enjoyed the claw foot tub/shower more 😉. Overall, the experience, cleanliness, and provisions were more than adequate, would definitely consider and recommend it again for 2-4 people.

Escape in the woods

If you are looking for a rental near glacier that is remote, but not roughing it in the park camping, this is the place for you. My husband and I with our two teen daughters 17 & 19 stayed here while exploring glacier. The home was exactly what we wanted. A few pointers for other people would be download movies on your devices prior to entering the area. No one has cell service or good WiFi unless you drive into Columbia Falls. We liked being disconnected. Food options are also limited, however the chalet and feida’s restaurant right outside the park were both good options. The ground squirrels on the property were so fun to watch. Would recommend this place to friends.

Perfect location right by Glacier! The house is secluded and feels like you’re alone in the woods. Only downside is the train that runs by often (obviously, no one can do anything about this but just a heads up as it can be loud at night). Would definitely stay here again!
