Enjoy the comforts of staying in a charming waterfront cottage on the beautiful Narragansett Bay. With views of Prudence Island, Bristol, and the Mount Hope Bridge our guests are sure to spend the day feeling at home in one of the most gorgeous locations on Aquidneck Island. This is the perfect house for a couple or small family to enjoy the wonders of coastal living. You are sure to feel relaxed in our quaint and quiet cottage. If you choose to venture out to explore beautiful Rhode Island for the day, Newport is a short 20 min drive and Providence is a 40 minute drive (just make sure to return in time for the breath-taking sunset perfectly seen from our bay side deck).

The view was incredible and the surrounding town was quaint. The beds were comfortable and they had plenty of fans and A/C units available to keep us comfortable in the summer heat!

Fantastic vacation. Location was perfect. Great views of Hog Island. It was so peaceful and quiet. The house was comfortable and large enough if we had gotten rain, we would not be on top of each other. All the amenities we would need were there.

The property was perfect. The views were magnificent, day and night. I lived in Portsmouth for over 40 years and the only wildlife I saw was rabbits and the occasional coyote. During our stay this week we saw deer every day !

We loved this house! It was perfect for our family of three. We loved the quiet location and the breathtaking view of the bay. We have stayed at several different rentals in Portsmouth and this was by far our favorite. We hope to return soon!

It was very clean and welcoming. We loved the views from the den and kitchen areas. The days that we were there, it stormed the whole time, but it was still pretty to see.

We absolutely loved it! The location was perfect. The access to the ocean and shells were great. It allowed us to be close to everything we needed and also have some down time. Thank you so much! We will absolutely be back!

Our Favorite Getaway

The cottage is clean, spacious, and quiet. The perfect place to go after a day at the Newport Folk Festival. This was our third year staying here and we hope to be back next year.

Beautiful setting!

Quaint cottage that is well equipped and with the most comfortable King size bed! Wonderful location right on the bay, peaceful & private. Convenient to Newport, Portsmouth, Bristol and the coastal towns. We had a wonderful stay.

You pick a property for your vacation and you hope for the best. And with this cottage we really felt like we had the best, and then some. There were things that you wouldn’t think to ask for—like large windows that made you feel like you were on a houseboat, like the bridge that at night looked like a jeweled necklace, like the sunset that made us get back in time each night. A lovely place, and the hosts were great—very responsive and accommodating.

RWU parent hideaway

We’ve stayed twice and will hopefully be able to enjoy it as long as our son is a student at RWU! Great place, super clean an absolutely perfect location to visit RWU!

Perfect spot

My husband and 7 month old daughter reallt enjoyed our little get away here. The house was nice and clean, and the sceneray in the backyard is absolutely beautiful! We can’t wait to come back in the future.

Over all it was a good experience. I’d suggest replacing carpets and upgrading kitchen utensils and equipment. Our enital thought was the unit was furnished with utensils and hardware attained from yard or estate sales. Location is very good, the deck was nice.

Lovely Stay

We loved our stay at the cottage. Everything was as described. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and cozy. A lovely place to unwind after the long, hot, and magical Newport Folk Festival . Hope to return to the festival and the cottage next year!

Great view of the water.

House has a great view. Has a retro cottage vibe with wood paneling. Can sleep 4 comfortably.
