Come stay at Pelicans Perch!The ultimate beach house. 3 minute walk to beach !

Perfectly located two and half blocks from the beach in the highly desirable Crystal Beach area of Destin. 3 bedroom/2.5 baths plus loft. All bedrooms/loft have blackout blinds and smart TVs. Large living room with leather sofas and smart TV. The kitchen has stainless gas oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all amenities. The dining room has a table to seat eight people comfortably. Beautiful wrap around deck with screened in porch. The backyard includes a fenced in pool, outdoor dining table, gas grill and outdoor shower. Plenty of beach amenities including a wagon, cooler, chairs, umbrella and toys. Two child booster seats for dining table, baby gate and two Pack N Plays available upon request.

Wonderful Getaway

The house was tastefully decorated, well equipped & comfortable! We enjoyed soaking up the sun at the pool, sunsets at the beach & the screened porch in the evenings! Rory was so easy to work with & very informative! We would definitely stay again!

Nice Family Vacation stay close to Everything

We had a group of 8 -9 and everyone had a great time. It was a nice house with plenty of room for all of us with everything close by. Owner was very responsive to all of our questions and was very pleasant to work with. Great place for Family vacation.

Great house/location

This was our 9th summer to vacation in Crystal Beach and this was the home that best suited our needs. The location is perfect, just a couple of blocks from the closest beach access. The home is also conveniently located to numerous shopping areas and restaurants. The home has ample living space, including the size of the bedrooms. Of all the places we stayed, this home was stocked the best. The kitchen had everything we needed (dishes, glassware, pots/pans, bakeware, appliances, etc.). In prior years we have had to go to the store to get additional supplies, but that was not necessary with this home. The owner is very responsive! We had a great week and would highly recommend it. We look forward to having the opportunity to rent it again!!

Beautiful Place and Location

The house is very nice and as described. The one thing not noted are the outside cameras which the property owner regularly checks. The house is just minutes from the beach and a perfect location from shops and restaurants. Follow all the rules in the binder left by the property owner and you'll have no issues.

Pelicans Perch

We very much enjoyed our stay here the house was beautiful, the pool was gated, and the walk to the beach was short. I will say that the internet wasn’t that great, but it worked enough that our tv in our room would play Netflix.

Spring break

This was our second time staying here! We would come back anytime. We had an issue with the AC and Rory had a guy out that same day. Prime location as well! Enjoyed everything with our stay!

Just what we needed

Our family had a wonderful time at Pelicans Perch! The home was very clean and spacious. Our younger kiddos loved the bunk beds. The teens enjoyed having their own areas as well. The pool was a huge hit for our kiddos. The dining room table was big enough to include everyone. Loved that Pelicans perch had everything you could need. Thanks for having us!!

We have a great time at Pelicans Perch, the house had everything that we need, very spacious and very clean. The communication was Rory was outstanding, great guy. Very close to the beach as it says, very close to everything, great location.

Great Experience

My family & I really enjoyed this house! Perfect location, easy access to the beach. Pool was warm and clean and inside the garage there are lots of floats, beach chairs. The house was clean & the beds were so comfy. Kitchen has everything you need and more. We did have an issue with the heat randomly cutting on, but got intouch with the owner of the house and he had someone come out and fix it right away. Overall great property!

This was an amazing house to stay in we stay yearly at different beaches in Florida and this was one of our favorites management had everything you could possibly need and was super easy to work with and very attentive would highly recommend this home

Did not meet expectations

We loved the location to the beach and the swimming pool. The living room area was comfortable! The negatives were many. I won't go into the details, but the overall interior and exterior cleanliness was poor. We sent a message to property manager/owner with pictures of cleanliness issues but he did not respond. The gas oven gave out a strong and overwhelming odor upon turning it on the first evening of our stay. Property manager responded quickly, but couldn't get anyone to look at it until over halfway through our weeks stay! We ended up wasting some groceries. The HVAC struggled to cool on the second floor making sleeping a bit difficult. The HVAC for the loft bedroom fluctuated between being way too cold and too hot. At one point, the temperature was set on 70 degrees but the room was 81. Property manager had me pull the thermostat out to reboot the system. It worked for the night! But it went back to freezing out the grandkids the next day. I didn't reach out to the owner again because our stay was about over, and I thought he should of sent a technician already. The queen bed mattress (bunk bed room) was bad. You"d literally roll to the middle! After a couple of nights, my son ended up sleeping on the couch so his wife wouldn't have to continue stuggline to sleep on the edge of mattress! The internet service was interrupted multiple times. The living room TV turned off on us during viewing several times. I ended up sending a message to the owner asking if he could do anything to offset the above disappointments? He did not respond except to say "have a great day!" We're pretty chill people who do not like to complain, but we felt we needed to share our experience with others.

Great Spring Break Trip!

Just returned from an amazing week in Destin. The house is absolutely perfect and had plenty of space for 2 families of 4. The location to the beach, Destin Commons and restaurants was perfect. The highlight for our group was the private heated pool, where we cooled off from our days at the beach. There are plenty of beach and pool toys, wagons and chairs. The inside of the house is well stocked and very spacious. The owner was extremely quick to respond and even handled a mechanical issue late at night that was resolved early the next morning. Highly recommend this property and if our travels take us back to Destin we will certainly look to book here again!

Beach House

Loved our time at the Beach House in Destin. Rory was awesome and easy to communicate with in the days leading up and while we were there. A few notes about the place.... Location: Loved how it was just blocks away from multiple beach access points. We took a day to drive to Henderson Beach as well. If you are trying to avoid some of the college croud during spring break season I would highly recommend Henderson Beach. Much more of a family scene and quieter setting. Pool: Our 3 kids loved the pool in the back! It was nice and private as well which was nice. It was a little small but our kids didn't care at all and spent a lot of time playing in it when we weren't at the beach. Loved how it was heated as well since some of our days were a bit cooler (in the 60's). Only comment I would make about the pool is we wish there was a bit more lighting for when we tried to swim at night/evening. House: Great floor plan, nice sized rooms, awesome dinning room and very ideal set up. The fact that Rory also had beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, bikes, and wagons was amazing!!! All together we loved our stay, loved the beaches, and everything the place had to offer. Communication and cleanliness are always 2 of the most important things for us when booking a VRBO and Rory was at an elite level with both of those things.

Perfect for our family

We loved the property. Lots of modern appliances and touches, but still has a lot of beach house charm. The heated pool was fantastic for all of us, but especially great for our 2-year old who loves being in the water. I don't think there was anything we needed and couldn't find already present at the house. The walk to the beach is really quick, and at least a couple times we walked over at night without taking anything with us just to sit and watch the sunset. I'd recommend to anyone. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions, and was more than accommodating. Next time we'll have to bring grandparents to watch the kiddo periodically. haha.
