We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Great location and beautiful views. Had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We got to see bears out back in the woods one evening and then again the next day walking right in front of the cabin. I was really excited to have this experience. The views from the deck are beautiful. The hot tub and game room were great for relaxing at the cabin in the evening after exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge during the day. We are already planning to come back next year!

This was such a fun place to stay! The view is beautiful and we were blessed to see a mama bear with her 3 cubs just down the street. The game room was a huge hit with the family and the amenities were perfect.

Mogen was great, we had a breaker that was bad and within a day it was fixed! We have been going to Gatlinburg/ Pigeon Forge for nearly 20 years and have never seen bears at our cabin until this trip! If you like to see bears this is the right place for you! The view was awesome, could even see Ober Gatlinburg tram from our balcony! Would definitely stay again!

Very nice and spacious cabin for me and my family of 6. My 4 children were able to stay occupied during the afternoon rain with the activities just in the house. Communication was quick and easy. Very nice spot if you want to see some bears here and there throughout the day. Beautiful view from the back balcony as well. I love the fact that there is a little market down the road so there’s no having to go back into the big city for little things. I love the fact that this house was the last one in the left of the road so traffic was not even a factor for us.

The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described when we arrived. We planned this as a friends’ getaway, with everyone traveling in from different states, and it couldn’t have been a better place to spend the Fourth of July weekend.Between the short drive into Gatlinburg, watching bears from the hot tub, playing games together, and relaxing while watching the World Cup, we made some incredible memories. The host was also very responsive and even checked in during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area!

We loved everything about the cabin itself but did not like 2 things:Owner not getting back to us when we let him know the main shower did not work.The roads to get all the way up to it were far too treacherous - too narrow and windy and steep with no guard rails - because of this, we would not return to it.

I am so glad to hear that you loved the cabin! I went back over my messages and unfortunately I did not receive any message from you asking about the shower. I did reach out in the morning, checking in, but did not hear a response back from you. The shower turns on by being pulled down from the tub faucet! I would have been happy to explain that during your stay, I am so sorry you had trouble with it!!

Everything was clean and cozy. We seen bears on several days during our stay. The owners were reponsive when questions arose. Great experience. Definitely coming back! Hot tub was wonderful

Perfect, everything about the place was perfect. We'll stocked kitchen and it was very quiet. Had 5 bears visit last night. Seen a bear most every time either coming or going from the place. Not any traffic going by. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend.

We have been coming up to Gatlinburg for over 20 years. This by far was one of the best cabins we have ever rented.The host was very detailed and communication was very easy.I will be sure to post some pictures as this cabin seem to be on the main BEAR highway lol! We saw bears daily and had the best time watching them from our windows or the deck.The view from the deck was absolutely stunning!!The game room downstairs was absolutely perfect. The kids loved hanging out down there and the adults could always go to the deck or which made it nice for the entire family.We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone!!

Our family had an incredible time at the Golden Bear Cabin. Mogen was responsive, professional, and made sure that we had everything needed for a great stay. The house was comfortable, clean, and well stocked. Game room was a huge hit with the kids. Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains are stunningly beautiful. We went on three hikes over the course of our stay, and this house is a huge advantage as you don't need to fight the traffic getting into the park every morning. One note - the hills and roads getting up to the cabin are on the side of a very steep mountain! Keep this in mind if your car has an underpowered engine, or otherwise needs maintenance. They're drivable, but narrow and some are at a 45 degree incline or more. The cabin and area are worth the trip, so don't let that scare you off, just be prepared.

Great hosts and a wonderful cabin! Everything we needed was available and well-stocked. The cabin was comfortable and well maintained, and the hosts checked in to make sure we had a great stay. We really appreciated their attentiveness and hospitality. Would definitely book again!

The hosts were extremely welcoming and communicated with us before and during our stay quickly and were very helpful.The cabin is just like pictured, clean, great place to stay while visiting the smokies! The small details made or extra special, lots of board games, coffee, hot chocolate. One of our new favorite places!
