Amazing stay

Me and my husband stayed here for my birthday and it was absolutely fantastic the views and atmosphere made it a very relaxing and worthwhile experience we would love to stay here again during the summer

Wonderful, quiet stay at the lake. The only company to the area were several friendly deer. We spent most of the weekend skiing the various bays of the lake. What a magnificent location!

This cabin was beautiful, quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The property manager was quick to respond and friendly every step of the way! I absolutely recommend Aspen for any quiet getaway.

The host was quick to answer any questions and the place was exactly what we wanted. Even if there is a couple of neighbors, it was quiet and private and made for the perfect getaway weekend for valentine's. The view of the frozen lake was great. We will definitely be back to see what the lake looks like in the summer.

Beautiful solitude

Such an amazing quiet spot right on the water, got to watch an otter play right off the dock! Just a couple minute drive from the Timberwolf Inn, where we enjoyed a nice dinner.

Aspen is a BEAUTIFUL cabin, also exceptionally neat & clean. Josh and Kristen always responded very quickly to our messages and were wonderfully accommodating to our requests. My husband & I were desperately in need of a peaceful, relaxing getaway and our time at Aspen was exactly what we were hoping for. It was a truly a blessing. Thank you so much for everything, Josh & Kristen, especially for the "special" touches.

Great place in the north woods. Beautiful log cabin with a Hot tub and unique extra large shower. Check out this gem if you are in the area you will not be disappointed!

The cabin was cute and perfect for my little getaway. God's country describes the location best lol ..you can literally go outside and hear nothing! Super adorable cabin and the tub is amazing....will stay again if I get a chance

Peaceful getaway

Beautiful log cabin in a remote peaceful setting. Just the getaway we were looking for. Each day we either snowshoed or skied on the lake. Came back to the cabin to relax and warm up in the jacuzzi tub. Hope to come again someday!

Family visit at Thanksgiving

The cabin is charming with a great view of the lake. The only thing we'd ask them to change is to include hand soap and some hooks in the main bedroom. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Stay

My husband and I celebrated our 24th anniversary at Aspen Cabin. When we arrived, we found champagne and chocolates left by the owners with a nice note wishing us a relaxing and restful stay. The lake was beautiful and serene as it was still frozen from Winter. The cabin was beautiful and the furniture was comfortable and welcoming. We look forward to another trip to Aspen cabin as the weather warms up and our children can join us to explore and fish, as the lake is only a few steps away from the back of the cabin. We also enjoyed a couple of meals at the Timberwolf Inn, located at the entrance of the resort. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Washington meets Minnesota

The Aspen cabin was absolutely amazing. The kitchen and living room view of the lake was gorgeous. The cabin was super cozy and the tub was beyond relaxing. Would love to stay longer.

Quiet Peaceful Cabin

The cabin looks out across the lake, which was breathtaking to see every day. We also had deer that would come by pretty much daily. The entire area was very tranquil and quiet. The cabin itself was exactly as described and was perfect for our two week retreat. Everything was perfect!

Special Find in the Middle of Nowhere!

This area is truly special- God’s Country. My husband stayed here to meet contractors as we recently bought property in the area. The cabin is incredibly well built and the amenities this far North were greatly appreciated. Owners were incredibly accommodating and very easy to work with. We wish you continued success! We enjoyed our stay, and found the owners very responsive. Though the cabin has an efficient floor plan, the peaked roof and vaulted ceilings provide a spacious feel – Recommended
