Enjoy cabin life in this newly built lake front cabin in a quiet bay of North Star Lake in Marcell, MN. Beautifully decorated with all the conveniences. Cabin sits on 4 acres of property bordering 70,000 acres of public land ensuring privacy.

Cabin Includes:
• 2 Bedrooms with California king beds
• Sleeper sofa
• Murphy Hutch bed in a very private area of the rec room
• 2 beautiful bathrooms with tiled showers
• Kitchen with granite counters, new appliances including dishwasher, coffee pot, microware
• Rec room with pool table
• Open floor plan with large spacious dining and living areas
• In-floor heating as well as two half split units for heating and cooling
• Sit on the patio and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake or have a campfire while enjoying the spectacular view of the stars.
• Complete with dock to make your boating or fishing convenient. The bench on the dock is a nice way to enjoy your morning coffee while watching a variety of animals including beavers, swans and an occasional otter sighting.

North Star Lake is known for it's spectacular views and great fishing. Close to many other lakes holding numerous species of fish including walleyes, bass, musky, northern, lake trout, crappies and panfish.

This is great base in the winter as you explore the hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails or in the summer to hike and explore the thousands of acres of public land.

Perfect

We stayed four weeks and enjoyed every day of it. The house is beautiful and comfortable. The view is pretty spectacular. It's one that you'll never get tired of.

Marcell Stay

From our initial booking I had a good feeling. John communicated and answered all of our questions. Simple and easy. The cabin exceeded our expectations and upon arrival we felt like it was “our home” for the week. From the well stocked kitchen, to the comfy beds, pool table and outdoor patio table with a huge umbrella…all the things we wanted to enjoy family time. Our 3 sons in their 20’s wanted to fish musky and the lake did not disappoint!! We floated in tubes , played cards and grilled! Highly recommend!!

Great property on a quiet part of the lake.

Fabulous! Beds were comfy, property super spacious. Very quiet part of the lake and you get your workout in on the steps :). Kitchen was very well equipped; it had everything we needed. Very easy access to property off 38. We would rent this again. That's always my gold star rating.

Weekend getaway for wedding in Big Fork

Amazing cabin and property for our weekend up North. The cabin had everything you could imagine! One of the best stocked VRBO’s we have ever stayed in. Communication with the manager was amazing. The beds were very comfortable. The reason for the 4 star rating on cleanliness was because the second and third beds had dog fur on them. We were able to change the sheets as plenty were provided. Easy fix!

Fantastic week!

Our son was getting married in Big Fork so we decided to make a vacation out of it. This VRBO appears to be a newer build. Huge kitchen, nice patio, washer/dryer. It had all the amenities you could want. The views of the lake are beautiful and a couple people in our group caught some nice sized fish. Owners were good to work with. Highly recommend!

Beautiful week in the North

The cabin is beautiful with all needed amenities plus more. We enjoyed our nightly pool tournament and daily relaxing. The view of the lake from the cabin is breathtaking. The walk to the lake could be challenging for some, was safe but many steps and incline on the way up from the lake will get your heart pumping. The lake itself is gorgeous with many loons calling and nature everywhere. This cabin is on a back cove of Northstar Lake but even with my large boat was fully accessible to the entire lake and made a great trip with morning coffee or each evening enjoying the sunset. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this gem in the North!

Our little escape to paradise

This place is a true gem if you are looking to get away from it all!! The cabin was more than what we expected. So clean, comfortable and has everything if you forgot something. Lake is peaceful. We brought our boat up to fish a little. 1st cast was a 42" muskie! We were hooked! The pool table was an added bonus also as we are avid pool players. What a great table to play on! We will definitely be back!! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful relaxing vacation!

This was such a wonderful cabin to stay in! Relaxing and serene! Our kids loved beating us in a game of pool! We brought two kayaks and a boat with. They have a canoe and two kayaks as well. We did a lot of fishing and made our catch the last night. We highly recommend staying here! Everything is stocked so well and nice and clean! Thank you again for opening your cabin up to us for some much needed R & R!

Wonderful Cabin

Wonderful stay, my parents, kids, husband and I all had a wonderful stay. The view was beautiful. There was plenty of room for all of us. There was a lot of towels and amenities. It was great. Thank you for opening this home it was perfect and we will be booking this location for future events

Amazing view!

Very nice cabin overlooking the lake. Having a dock was great and Joe was able to direct me somewhere that I could rent a boat for our stay. Nice, secluded area with a small town not too far away and a larger town about a half hour away to get anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

They thought of everything

Our stay was filled with pleasant surprises from a thoughtful selection of utensils to a clean well-presented living area. Walking the grounds was like a popup book of created views including beautiful fauna and a stunning lake view. The sunrise from the dock was purple with jets of orange reflected in the lilypads. This place is very cleverly crafted to create a marvelous experience.

Fantastic house

The house is super cute, great size with a large open living area, clean and fun! Beds were super comfy and having 2 full bathrooms is always nice with a large group like ours. Secluded area, so if you are at all like us and love playing games, singing along to your music, etc. - this is a great place. House is also very well stocked with appliances/dishes, etc. Loved not having to bring or buy firewood. Only tiny suggestion - an outdoor folding table. There is a high table with 4 comfy chairs though. We brought our own folding table so all 8 of us could sit around and play games. There were plenty extra chairs provided though. And this isn't a necessity of course. Great place - we all loved it!!!

Vacation fun

A beautiful cabin, clean and well organized with all you could need. The owner was quick to respond and get the dryer repaired when it was not drying well. Inly complaints would be that, while it sleeps 6 comfortably, 8 would be a stretch, and it would have been good to know prior that there are zebra mussels in the lake since my father brought his own boat and then had to decontaminate due to zebra mussels. Still a great time and worth it. Would recommend.

Great Cabin up on a hill

Had a great time staying here. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Joe was great to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Walk down to the water is a bit of a hike, but the view from the cabin was amazing and the privacy was a huge plus. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Cabin, Wonderful Stay

Of all the VRBO's we have rented this cabin is head and shoulders above the rest. Well stocked with everything you would ever need. We were impressed with the little touches such as fire starter, bug repellant, 3 fishing rods and reels and an instruction book filled with detailed instructions and brochures for restaurants and places to hike and fish. Isolated and quiet, it is the perfect place to stargaze (look for the Big Dipper) and to have your morning coffee/tea on the back pad (great views). The cabin was immaculate, and Joseph (the Host) was fantastic. This is a place we would love to return to. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

One of the best places to stay.

The title says it all. Between hotels and other home sharing stays I have done, along with others that were there, this is one of the best places to stay. It was immaculately cleaned, had everything we needed, and was actually relaxing. The interior was beautiful along with the views. The host was awesome with communication and being flexible. We are hoping that they will have us back in the future! If you're looking to go up north, relax, and have a good time, this is the place to go.

Incredible Cabin!

I could not believe how beautiful and well-appointed this cabin is! Our family absolutely loved this place! We fished, kayaked, canoed to our heart's content outside. Inside, we cooked, streamed movies, played games, did puzzles- everything inside is immaculate. The hosts were incredibly responsive throughout the whole process, I will be sharing this information and recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful place to stay!

We are Arizona grandparents. Every summer we rent a cabin/home in Minnesota to use as a gathering place for our children and grandchildren to visit or stay a night or two with us. This home rates very high on our list of favorites. Very clean, comfortable and well stocked and the owner was very accommodating. Grandkids enjoyed the pool table and two of them each caught a Northern about 34” long and weighing over 10 pounds. After taking pictures they released them for someone else to catch! We had a great time!
