When we upgraded the dock, our contractor thought we were crazy for going all-in with the finishes, but it’s become one of the most loved spots at the property. The top deck is perfect for soaking in the views, while the shaded lower level—with ceiling fans and ESPN on the TV—makes for the ultimate cool-down spot. Hope you’ll be back soon for another round of lake time!

Ann, so glad that you had an amazing time on your vacation and appreciated all the "little extras" that we provide. Thank you for your kind words. While we do not typically allow pets, my family did stay at the lake the week before you and had our dogs. We actually pay our wonderful and long time cleaning crew extra to be sure they take care of the dog hair after our stays. You had such wonderful things to say throughout the week you were there, but I wished you would have let us know about our 🐶 Sadie's hair that was missed. So sorry!!! We've owned three luxury homes on Lake Gaston over the past 19 years, and this is our first non 5-star ranking ever, so you can imagine how much we pay attention to client feedback and not allowing these types of things. Needless to say, we'll communicate this to our team and get better from it! We always appreciate guests taking the time to let us know how to improve. 👍
