Great oceanview 2nd row home. 2 minutes to the beach. Beach access is directly across from the house. Sleeps 8 people.

Located right across the street from the beach, there are good ocean views... plus a first floor spacious deck.
On the first floor, there are 2 bedrooms with queen beds with each having their own private bathroom. A large living room with a large screen smart TV , a dining room with seats for 8 people as well as a 4 stool bar lies adjacent to the well stocked kitchen! Also on the first floor, enjoy the nice glassed porch, off the living area with really good ocean views or you may want to sit on the front deck.
The second floor boasts a third bedroom with a queen size bed . Additionally an open loft with two twin beds (great for kids!) shares a full bathroom.

There is plenty of parking underneath the house as well as an adult picnic table, child's picnic table, BBQ and charcoal grill, and outside shower with Hot water!

This home is perfect for a family or two, or a couple that is looking for a nice affordable home, with great beach access. This home is situated that allows for privacy yet so close to the beach.
Linens are provided : Sheets, Pillows, Comforter, Blankets, Towels (one towel/washcloth set per person for a total of 8)

We also provide a starter kit of toiletries , paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, dishwasher detergent, spray cleaner, and garbage bags.

RENTS WEEKLY SATURDAY TO SATURDAY during the months of June, July, August
2 night minimum stay for all other months

No smoking/vaping,
No pets
No house parties are allowed.
Golf carts are not allowed due to the Edisto Beach law that prohibits golf carts on Palmetto Blvd.
LSV ( low speed vehicles ) are allowed on the streets.

Great location right across from the public access to the beach. Could hear the waves and see a glimpse of the ocean. Place set up well. Lots of beds and space to hang out. Nice for each room to have its own shower /sink/ toilet. Host was exceptionally responsive to some initial concerns about the AC but it was very quickly addressed and fixed. Beds were comfortable. There were some beach chairs there to use. The outdoor shower was great to keep the sand out!

Our stay was fantastic! Once Upon a Tide is a beautiful property, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The decor gives the beachy vibe and communication with Linda was easy and she was quick to respond. We highly recommend your stay to be here. Only a couple minute walk to the beach.

Great place to stay with a group of friends to relax while attending a wedding in the area.

Family Vacation

We had a fine time at Once Upon A Tide. This is the second time we've stayed in this house. Its conveniently located and right across the street from the public beach access.

Home away from home!

This home was even better than the pictures! Very comfortable for our family vacation with a very short walk across the street from the beach. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the front porch look at the ocean. Can’t wait to stay again!

nice property, great location, only negative thing was some bugs, need to get exterminator to come spray or re-spray house

Thank you for the positive review. Unfortunately, Hurricane Dorian brought with it the lovebug invasion all of the Lowcounty over the last few weeks despite spraying and respraying. Thankfully, they have moved on and there is no longer this problem. We have the home on a quarterly service. We hope you will come again.

Great beach getaway

Had a great time at this nice home. Very close to beach access and has all the comforts of home. Owner communicated well and was responsive to questions. Very good experience and a wonderful stay!

Perfect stay and location

Wonderful place close to the beach! We enjoyed watching movies in the big living area on our 2 rainy days as well.

Great weekend

Great weekend celebrating my mom’s 80th. So nice to have linens provided ! And the kitchen was stocked with any basic we needed.

Enjoyed our stay

Listing said "two minutes to beach" and it was right! Good sized rooms, kitchen fully outfitted. Not quite as pristine as hoped and dryer couldn't be used due to interior rust but overall, we were very pleased with the house and enjoyed our stay.
