Property not as described, could not stay
Our initial search was private pool. Pictures showed nice pool. Review talked about pool. My booking request said "we're going to spend our time at the house enjoying the pool, game room and house.
The pool hadn't been filtered in a few weeks, dead squirrel floating in pool, huge pile of leaves on bottom of pool. "No swimming" added to notes.
House floor was dirty. Check in inst. Said take shoes off, our socks picked up tons of dirt and debris. Spiderweb, cobwebs everywhere. Spiders inside the house. Wasps flying around in the bedroom.
The separate building for the game room had no electricity (turned off). Building has metal roof with no insulation, it was 90 degrees out well over 100 inside. Game tables were covered with dust debris nest material and bird droppings.
Wifi did not work. No cell service (as expected)
It appeared as though no one had been to this property for weeks. It had not been recently cleaned or maintained. It was obvious that no pest control maintenance had been done for quite some time.
This property had not been prepared for our visit. We could not stay here with these conditions.
My family is completely heartbroken. This was a very important trip for us.
