Beautiful cabin with all the amenities. Having one room on the first floor was perfect for my 86 year old FIL who can’t take steps very well. Finding the place initially was tricky, but once we found it, we had no problem afterwards. (Just follow the sign with arrow and trust that it will lead you to the cabin). The pool table was a hit with everyone. Communication was amazing before, during, and after our stay. Sue provided a list of places to eat and things to do…very helpful! We took the Great Smoky Mountain “Train and Tarzan” with our 12 and 17 year olds and they had a blast. We also rented a side by side 4 person razer where we spent 3 hours driving on a planned course that was set in the GPS. Beautiful time of year to see all the foliage. The recommended Rice Wagon was our go to for dinner two nights in a row and we ate on the rooftop enjoying some brews while the kids sipped on sodas. Maybe a recommendation would be to pack extra night light plugs and more lights for driveway. Otherwise wonderful stay! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We’re thrilled to hear the cabin worked so well for your family, especially having the first‑floor bedroom for your father‑in‑law. It sounds like you made the most of your time here from the pool table battles to the Train & Tarzan adventure and the side‑by‑side tour. And we’re glad the recommendations were helpful; Rice Wagon is always a favorite. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for taking the time to share your experience. And thank you again for choosing our cabin and for being such thoughtful guests. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 7. Plenty of beds and bathrooms, nice extra amenities like smores sticks, fire pit lighters, hot tub towels. We enjoyed the fire pit and pool table every night of our stay. Not far from the grocery and downtown only about 10 minutes. Short bumpy gravel road up but no big deal, this was one of the best most memorable stays and vacations I've had with my family!

Thank you so much for choosing Sophie’s Choice Cabin and for taking the time to share your experience. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the cabin and truly appreciate your 5‑star review. The mountain roads can definitely add a bit of adventure to the trip, and we’re glad you made the most of your time here. For clarification, we provide a towel set for the cabin’s maximum occupancy, which in this case is 12 sets. The cabin also includes a washer and dryer for added convenience if guests prefer to wash towels during longer visits. The cookie sheet is stored in the oven drawer, and we’re sorry it wasn’t easy to find during your stay. We’ll look at ways to make kitchen items even easier to locate. We truly appreciate your thoughtful comments and hope the rest of your mountain getaway was relaxing and memorable. You’re always welcome back at the cabin.
