This charming home is in the perfect location on North Captiva Island. The private heated pool and hot tub won’t stop you from taking the few steps to the best beach area on the island. Be ready to become obsessed with total relaxation. New flat screen TV’s, ceiling fans, lighting, dishwasher, high speed internet (Starlink) and constant upgrades in this home are just the beginning. With the rooftop observation deck, views of the Gulf of Mexico and the amazing sunsets along with the Nature Reserve just to the south, it is hard to decide which direction to look, hence the two golf carts available to take you exploring the amazing island.

Wonderful, Relaxing Stay!

The host has provided for every anticipated need, from the very comfortable bed to the herbs and spices needed for cooking. The pool and the hot tub were perfect and the home was very comfortable! We would not hesitate to refer others to this property and property owner.

The Lemon Drop

Owner and property managers were great on communication. The house and pool were perfect for a family with kids, and the island was beautiful. Having the golf carts, beach chairs, and other amenities made enjoying the trip so easy. Loved our stay!

Well Equipped

We absolutely loved staying about the Lemon Drop. The house has EVERYTHING you could need. The kitchen was so well equipped and since we ate every meal in - it was really helpful. We loved the pool area and proximity to the beach. Our stay was perfect!

Relaxing

We just enjoyed the property because it’s peaceful and it’s in a great location. Everything there was excellent and it was well furnished. We had no issues with anything and will be coming back.

Can't wait to book again!

Most everything in the house has been brand new! You can tell the owner has put in a lot of work into the house and it shows. Very happy with our visit and we can't wait to go back next year.

The Lemon Drop

Location was perfect and having 2 golf carts was great. Pool and hot tub were clean and a great bonus. Very clean home and comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Great home.

Slice of Heaven

The lemon drop property had everything we needed. This was our second trip to Captiva. Having the pool and hot tub with the kids was wonderful. This property is a short walk or a quick cart ride to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Island. We had a wonderful stay. Can’t wait to go back again!

Great stay at the Lemon Drop

Fantastic house and location. Our three kids aged 7, 9 & 12 loved the heated pool and hot tub. The included golf carts were great and we had so much fun exploring the island. What an incredible island! The house had everything we could have possibly needed and Genny the owner and Tortuga Properties were excellent to deal with. Would highly recommend staying here and we can't wait to go back to North Captiva. What a great family vacation spot.

Beautiful home in a beautiful place!

We had so much fun during our week in N. Captiva! The communication from the homeowner and property managers was wonderful and the house was absolutely gorgeous. Wouldn't have changed a thing!

Piece of Paradise

My wife and I LOVE North Captiva Island and this home made it all the sweeter. It was clean, management was extremely responsive, just a short walk to the beach, and the private pool/hot tub where great! It was also nice to bring our dog along - as he was a huge fan! We would recommend this property to anyone and look forward to coming back to this home - hopefully very soon!!

Great first trip to North Captiva

We loved every minute of our stay at the Lemon Drop. The house was the perfect size for our family of five and we had everything we needed for a perfect week in North Captiva. Genny was very accommodating and even sent new beach umbrellas during our stay because the existing one was broken when we arrived. The pool was fabulous and greatly enjoyed by our kids. I look forward to our next trip to North Captiva and will definitely return to the Lemon Drop for our stay!

Great place if you want a peaceful secluded vacation.

Property was great. House was very nice and updated. Pool and hot tub was great. Not far from the beach. You pull out of your house in your golf cart and within mins your at the beach. The house itself made you feel so relaxed just by how they had decorated it. A sure must for anyone wanting that type of peace.

PARADISE

The house was absolutely perfect! Everything you would want or need was provided. Located just down from the beech. Shelled every morning with our dog for hours. We will be back next year. BEST HOUSE ON THE ISLAND!

Fabulous Beach House!

What a wonderful island and the house was just minutes from the beach! The owner was very responsive, and the property manager made our first time arrival on the island so easy! The house was perfect with a well-appointed kitchen, hot tub, pool, barbecue area. screened porch and to top it off, a shell cleaning station! We loved going for golf cart rides to explore the island, walking on the beach, and meeting islanders at the restaurants! We have found a special place!

Excellent Stay

My family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the Lemon Drop. The home was spotless and well-stocked. Both bathrooms were beautifully updated and a new fold out couch was also there, which was very comfortable. Genny was very communicative and easy to reach with any questions. Tortuga was extremely helpful, picking us up at the ferry, responding to questions, and dropping us at the ferry for our very early departure. We loved our trip and hope to be back again next year.

Relaxation at it’s best!

We were fortunate to enjoy three weeks on North Captiva. We sure didn’t miss the cold weather and snow back home. The island is pure relaxation. You unplug and wander the sandy beaches (and roads) to your heart’s content. Followed, of course, by a nap on one of the comfy beds at the Lemon Drop. We are already booked for next year! Be sure to enjoy many drinks and meals at Mangos. You won’t be disappointed.

The Lemon Drop has been blessed with awesome renters. Michael and family went above and beyond our expectations. Their communication, cleanliness, and overall care they showed for our home did not go unnoticed. We look forward to their visit next year.

Lemon drop doesn't disappoint.

This was our second trip to the island. Last one was with extended family for our vow renewal. This time it was just the 2 of us and lemon drop was perfect. Comfortable, private, and close to the beach. The hottub was so relaxing. The house had everything we could need. I absolutely loved the rain shower head in the main bathroom. Wonderful. The island is slowly coming back. We'll be back for sure.

Lovely stay at the Lemon Drop

The Lemon Drop was just right for us (two couples and a dog) to share. Having a pool was the deciding factor and it was perfect! Lots of sun but also a little shade for anyone who prefers it. The kitchen had everything we needed. New bathrooms were very nice. The video that is posted is outdated so go by the photos. Location can't be beat!! Just a short walk down the street to the beach. The screened in porch was a little small when we had friends stop by, but fine for 4 people. Both Genny (owner) and Laura (property manager) were quick to respond to our needs. A little cluttered, but overall a great place to rent! .

Awesome place to stay!

Lemon Drop is a wonderful place to stay on the Island. The house is so clean and wonderfully furnished and stocked. We had everything we needed to enjoy a week here. The pool area is wonderful and the chairs so comfortable to lay in the sun (loved the bright blue pillows too). We didn't use the hot tub so can't comment on that but I'm sure it's great as everything else was. Beds were comfy too. We had our groceries shopped and stocked which in my opinion is the only way to go. Duncan @Tortuga was very responsive if we needed anything and Genny the owner is totally responsive and caring for your needs, even texting me with little hints for staying on the Island. You won't go wrong staying here. Thank you Genny for sharing your wonderful home!!

Little Slice of Paradise

The location of the home on the island is outstanding - Gulf and Bay views from the rooftop, about a minute golf cart ride to the beach, and a few minutes to island store and boat rental. The home was incredibly clean. Full kitchen was completely stocked and had all necessary tableware, silverware, cookware, bakeware, etc. Appliances are new. Washer and dryer was very convenient. Two golf carts provided for use which was great when loading beach gear, chairs, etc., which is also provided for use. Kids really enjoyed the pool and my wife and I enjoyed the jacuzzi. The outdoor shower was also used daily. Would highly recommend, and will most definitely be back!

Thank you for checking out The Lemon Drop. It took just two trips to the island for us to decide we wanted to purchase a home and share it. We are originally from Wisconsin, but call Tennessee our home. We have two grown kids; both married and graduated from college. Our family fell in love with this island, and we feel extremely blessed to be able to share it.
