Great views and location.

House is equipped with everything one would need...from kitchen utensils, towels and chairs for the beach and a golf cart making our stay extremely enjoyable.

Superior Island Beach Location!

Great location and wonderful house! The island experience makes for fun memories! Host was great to work with and the house is conveniently located in the middle of the island and close to the beach.

Beautiful location

This was our 2nd year spending our spring break at Wine'd Down, it is a beautiful house in one of the best spots on the island.

Great Stay & Beautiful Home

Beautiful home in a great location. Had a very relaxing week with family/kids. Place was very well equipped with everything we needed for the week. Looking forward to returning as the island gets back to it's old self!

Great vacation with awesome change of pace

House was very comfortable and met every need. Being in Safety Harbor club was huge perk. We loved the pace of the North Captiva island! Wonderful vacation. We will be back.

Family Vacay

We had a wonderful, relaxing time. We spent most of the day on the beach, grilling out, experienced the local restaurants and did a couple charters. One of the best weeks of my life. The downfall, I had to leave.

Magical Sunsets with the family

Our family had such a great time here. The location of the house was perfect. It was spacious, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Having the floats, chairs, paddleboard, etc. available during our stay was super convenient. We will definitely be back and would love to stay in the house again. The sunsets view from the patio is truly magical

Let me start by saying that we had a fantastic time (hence the rating) and are planning on coming back to this property!My two wish list items: refreshed towel supply, especially heavily used hand towels, wash cloths, etc.; upgrades to bathroom hardware, such as faucets, drains, as we were barely able to use the sink in the secondary bathroom.The layout of the house was great, the kitchen very well equipped, both small and large appliances very nice! Looooooooooved the location: a very short and beautiful walk to arguably the best beach on the island. Loved the sandbar and sunsets!!! The Shally’s property managers were exceptional. We will be back as we miss North Captiva already!

Beautiful home, beautiful island

Absolutely loved staying here. When booking, I was worried it would be a chore getting to the beach from the house but it is a short walk (or even shorter golf cart ride with parking right at the beach) and it wasn’t troublesome at all, even with 4 kids under the age of 7. Property managers were helpful any time I reached out. And we loved the island itself.

Phenomenal Place for families

We had an amazing stay in North Captiva. The house had an outstanding view of the sunset from our own balcony! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed in terms of kitchen and sleeping needs. The beach was a short distance from the house, and the club pool and tennis court just a short golf cart drive. We visited the nearby bar/restaurant/pool on the daily. We can't wait to go back.

Beautiful Sunsets

The house was beautiful even with the destruction from Ian. Short distance to a amazing beach, all the amenities you may need. The management team was responsive to the few minor concerns that we had. The sunsets from the top floor were amazing.

We had a wonderful week on North Captiva! The view from the property is absolutely gorgeous! The beach is just a quick walk away (maybe a minute).There were a couple of minor issues with the house during our stay, but the property managers were quick to respond and resolve everything.This was our fourth visit to the island, and this location has been my favorite so far. That said, the furniture is starting to show some wear, and a few amenities could use some upgrades, like one of the master bathroom sinks, which barely produced a trickle of water, and the towels were a bit on the cheaper side. The furniture and golf cart also could use some love.But given the challenges of maintaining a beach house on an island like North Captiva, these are small things that didn’t detract too much from the overall experience. If you can look past these little details, this place offers an incredible opportunity to truly relax and enjoy this amazing spot.
