Welcome to Shadow Ridge Lodge! Close proximity to all that the Asheville area has to offer, while offering peace and solitude in the mountains with spectacular mountain views. We fell in love with the Asheville area years ago and now we are so thankful to be able to share it with you. Shadow Ridge Lodge rests on 2 wooded acres with gorgeous east facing views. Our desire is for you to be able to relax in comfort with your family and friends.

The house and views were spectacular. The road and driveway to the house are intimidating but worth braving. Recommend for sure....

Secluded getaway close to asheville

The house was extremely spacious with lots of nice amenities like the hot tub and fire place. It did snow while we were there and the driveway is very difficult to get out of even with 4WD which the owner did warn us about. Would definitely be happy to stay here again.

Christmas vacation in Fletcher

Lovely spacious home. Had everything we needed, secluded, peaceful, and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, beds were very comfortable. We were very close to Biltmore Estate and other surrounding attractions.

Cozy and remote retreat!

The Perfect Escape!

Amazing home nestled between Asheville and Hendersonville. Immaculate house with plenty of amenities - washer and dryer, iron, fire pit, coffee machines, ping pong table, grill, gym, and more. Great master bedroom with king size bed and rooms with walkin closets. Numerous hiking opportunities around and amazing food everywhere. Amazing and speedy communication and recommendations! Would certainly return!

Great family friendly rental, nice and quiet!

Loved this rental, and the quiet seclusion. Well appointed with necessities for small children and was able to cook in the kitchen easily.

Beautiful mountain view

We had a wonderful time visiting Asheville, staying here. It is quite out of the way, but so quiet and peaceful. We spent a lot of time on the upper porch (all meals), reading.

Great stay

We came upon this property when looking for weekend accommodations for a wedding that we were attending , If you are looking for a wonderful home in a secluded neighborhood where you have time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings, this is it. This is one of the nicest homes we have stayed in...VERY clean and a great floor plan, The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Would love to go back for an entire week!

Had a great time.

The pictures for this property were accurate. Probably don’t do it justice tbh. The kitchen is well stocked with any cooking utensils you might need. Beds were super comfy. We were only here for the weekend but we enjoyed our stay. Even had our own ping pong Olympics. There were 8 of us so it was a full house but it’s so spacious we didn’t feel cramped at all.

Great View and awesome property

Rented for our daughters wedding. Beautiful property with amazing views. A little to far for daily trips to Asheville. Pet friendly and so welcomed. Driveway a little scary when you pull in. If your wanting a getaway and plan to stay put this place is perfect.

Carolina getaway

A beautiful home. The house is in a perfect setting, peaceful, with an amazing view of the mountains. Plenty of room inside and out. Really enjoyed the upper and lower level porches. The host was very helpful with my questions, making the check in and out very easy. If you are wanting a peaceful place to stay just minutes away from Asheville this is the place.

Great Place!

We had a great experience from time of booking through the end of our trip. Owners are super helpful and responsive. The house is quiet and was perfect for 2 couples and 3 kids. The view is beautiful and the decks and fire pit were awesome. Hope to stay again sometime soon!

Fantastic Stay

Wouldn’t change a thing about our stay or Shadow Ridge Lodge. Was perfect for our family. Everything we needed was there. The view every morning and in the evening was stunning. Ample room for our kids and family. We took advantage of the fire pit several nights which was perfect. So much to do in and around Asheville (hiking, whitewater rafting, breweries, restaurants) and everything was 20 minutes to an hour drive. Would highly recommend!!!

Perfect for a mountain getaway

My family and I LOVED staying at this house. It had everything we needed and was so relaxing! The view from the deck was incredible and was the highlight of our trip. We also enjoyed a nearby hike and a campfire out back. The owners were very helpful and provided great suggestions for local attractions. We are very satisfied and will be back!
