Beautiful Lake Hartwell getaway close to Clemson with dock on deep water

Escape to Lake Hartwell and forget your worries as you enjoy this tranquil lakefront home. It is the perfect spot to stay while enjoying a visit to Clemson for parents weekend, graduation or a football weekend. We are located 11 miles from Clemson Memorial Stadium.

Our 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom lakefront home features a large private double slip dock and plenty of outdoor living space! Bring your own boat along during your stay or rent from Portman Marina which is about 5 minutes away. There are also 4 kayaks at the dock for you to use in the quiet cove or to venture out into the open waters of Hartwell.

The main level of the home features two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The lakeside bedroom has a queen bed with private access to the outside deck. The second bedroom can sleep up to 6 with its 2 twin bed bunk beds and a single bed with a trundle. The downstairs bedroom features a king size bed and another full bathroom with jacuzzi tub. There are also 2 additional single mattresses available to accommodate up to 12 guests.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals and has new LG black stainless steel appliances. The open floor plan lets you enjoy beautiful views of the lake through the many large sliding glass doors. Sit out on the large wrap around deck and enjoy a morning coffee or cap off the night with a drink as the sun sets.

There are both upper and lower living rooms that have a 65” Smart TV’s to relax in after a long day of fun out on the lake. The lower level also has a bar with a separate TV to enjoy the game as well. All of the TV’s have access to Spectrum.

Great Location!

This was a perfect location and property for a family. We came up for a Clemson graduation and this was perfect location. Not too far from campus, beautiful lake view and amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed the house!

Lots of amenities at this house

My parents and my family stayed on this beautiful house on the lake. We were here for the Bassmaster High school championship and my daughter and mom had plenty to do at the house ! Swimming, kayaking and fishing

Beautiful Property; Family Fun

The view is amazing! The house has a great set-up for family including board games, air hockey and multiple basketball hoops. I spent most of my time outside fishing & kayaking. We visited in the fall and went to the nearby Denver Downs farm that was so fun for the younger kids while the older kids were at the (also nearby) Clemson game. We spent our evenings on the upstairs deck watching the stars and every morning on the dock watching the sunrise. We caught several catfish and a few bluegill. The cove is perfect for swimming and kayaking. The house had everything we needed - nice appliances, multiple TVs, grill, etc. We had a great time!

Graduation family trip

The house and property were amazing. Plenty of room! We rented a boat one day and it was delivered to the dock. The only real negative was a couple housekeeping issues. The fridge was pretty gross when we got there, but was easy enough to clean before we put our food in. Also wish there was more then one roll of paper towels, full size napkins ( not cocktail size) and another roll of tp for the toilets. Seems kind of silly saying these things, everything else was great!

Awesome lake house!

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful lake house! It was perfect for multiple families, easy to get to lake from the house with a short walk, close to boat launch. Owners were super nice and easy to reach. Would highly recommend!

Great week with family on the lake!

Wonderful lake view and the sunrises were beautiful! Very nice home and property with great amenities. We enjoyed fishing and floating off the dock and it was nice to have use of the kayaks. The house was just as advertised and perfect for our family stay.

Weekend at the lake

A great taste of lake life!

This property was a great find. Very comfortable, clean home on a beautiful lot. We had everything we needed. Huge dock, 4 kayaks, PFDs for everyone and a tube to boot! The sun shade was an awesome bonus and easy to put up. We spent all day on the dock, floating in the water, paddling and fishing. I am sold on lake life! Don't miss the sunrise...worth waking up early for...missing the views already. We will be back! Thank you Kelly for sharing your little slice of heaven! Christina

UNADVERTISED CAMERAS ON PROPERTY

Property was clean and was as advertised. However, upon check out I realized there were cameras around the property That the owner did not notify us About prior to booking or check in. The owner also was a nightmare to work with regarding checkout and the stay. Owner told me several times that neighbors told them information that simply was not true. Owners also stated that neighbors complained about how many cars were in the driveway. Mind you, there is no car limit On the contact so I don’t know why anyone would have cared. Again, we had a nice vacation but please know that you may be being watched on the cameras and neighbors spy on you according to the owner. I will not book this house again and advise others not to if you wish for privacy.

Lovely weekend on the lake

It was my son's "greatest experience ever." The house is very spacious and has a gorgeous view. We enjoyed the dock and water all day Saturday. It's awesome the kayaks were available-we had so much fun.

Fathers Day Family Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the lake house - the dock was ample and there was much to use from kayaks to floats, the kitchen was well-stocked (only suggestion is to add a cheese grater & maybe a pie pan), the landscaping was beautiful (especially the dahlias) and everything was in great condition! We will definitely want to return here again in the future!
