The Sycamore Cottage is a 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom one story single family home. The single floor design hosts two queen size bedrooms, an open layout kitchen, dining, and living room along with 1.5 bathrooms complete with laundry for your use. A queen air mattress and couch are available as well for guests. Private Hot Tub included!

Explore the wonders of Michigan's Harbor Country while staying in our relaxing private home, The Sycamore Cottage. A few minutes walk to charming shops, restaurants, and event venues including Journeyman Distillery, The Acorn Theater, and The Social Club in Three Oaks. Three Oaks is just a ten minute drive from the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan and thirty-five minutes to Notre Dame. Enjoy the small town lifestyle and find your own moment to getaway.

Lovely Cottage

Perfect little cottage with plenty of space for the two of us. Communication was timely and accurate. Walking distance to the town and Journeyman distillery, Froelichs, etc. Property was spotless and comfortable. Would stay here again gladly.

Fabulous Stay in Three Oaks - a block from Elm Street

We have been to Three Oaks many times. This place is absolutely the best. The pictures are accurate and the house is immaculate. We were so comfortable our entire stay. The hosts are fabulous and very accomodating. They went the extra mile in every case. Left us a bottle of wine and snacks. Also left post cards that they will mail out for you. Sweet. Very nice touch. Finally they dont require you to take out trash etc. They really care that you have a nice stay. Come here you will be pleased. We will be back for sure.

Short but sweet visit!

Our family had a great overnight stay here. It was clean, the decor is cute and homey and we especially enjoyed the hot tub on a cool October night. Would definitely recommend the property and fabulous hosts!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This is the lovliest house perfect for my husband and me for a quick getaway from the city. Central to everything in Three Oaks, the main street with restaurants and shopping is just a couple blocks away. One of the best things about this rental is that you have no responsibility with linens or garbage which was a huge help when we had to leave so early in the morning. Best beds! Thank you to our hosts!

Peaceful Charming Cottage

This is a darling house — we enjoyed the modern coastal vibe and open concept LR, DR and kitchen. In addition to the chic decor we appreciated the well outfitted kitchen — especially the Nespresso machine and milk frother plus pods. Ivan and Carly are great hosts and provided so many extra amenities, including Terry bathrobes and slippers, snacks and a bottle of wine! We especially liked the cottage handbook that provided a lot of helpful info about the house and Harbor Country restaurant recommendations — if only more hosts would do that! The beds were comfortable but it was too bright in the morning to sleep late. It would be good to add blackout shades. Overall I’d highly recommend this house.

Step in, relax, enjoy!

Booked this property for a couple's getaway. Loved the idea of being able to walk into town and enjoy a few adult beverages without worry of driving afterward. Walking also helped to burn a few of the many delicious calories we consumed at Staymakers! Everything at this property was perfect. Every detail has been thought of, from the coffee, to the bottle of wine that was waiting for us, snacks, towels/robes/slippers for the hot tub, all the little things you might have forgotten are already here. Beds are comfortable, everything is spotless, there's nothing not to like here. Perfect place for a couple or a small group. Immediately comfortable and welcoming throughout. We will return when time and opportunity permit!

Close to everything

We went to a concert at the Acorn Theater & it was so nice just to be able to walk from the house. The cottage is darling. Super clean with all the amenities. Hot tub was nice too. I’d definitely stay there again.

Stay was great!

The house was cute, clean, and I wish we could have stayed longer. Only thing was that we didn’t know if we could check in early until the day of our arrival, and we misread the listing and thought there were 3 beds (when there are 2 beds and an air mattress). All was great and we would stay again.

Wonderful house and location!

Been to New Buffalo many times over the years but first time in Three Oaks. This house was absolutely adorable and the host was responsive and helpful. We used the hot tub in the evening and with all the light off it was so dark you could see a beautiful night sky. The beds were so comfortable (I have a difficult time sleeping when not in my own bed) and I even asked about the bedding because it was so nice! I would highly recommend this property. It was a little tight squeeze for me and my 3 teens, but with one on the couch and two in the guest bedroom, I still had my own bed ;) It’s also a few blocks from the downtown shopping area (we drove but you could walk)… the little shops were adorable and everyone was so nice. I would definitely stay here again!!

Great VRBO!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The cottage was so nicely decorated and cozy! There were so many nice amenities included! The linens and beds were comfortable and kitchen was great with everything we needed. The hot tub was an added bonus that we really enjoyed! It was so nice also to bein walking distance to all the town has to offer. This was a 4 women little girls trip and we all said we'd come back here again!! Thanks so much to the hosts for such a great place!!!!

Beautiful & Cozy

We stayed at this cottage with our 2 young children for a wedding at Journeyman! It was the perfect place! Cozy, warm, inviting, & super clean! 5 min walk to the distillery! Would highly recommend!
