Lake Escape is a cozy cottage located in Union Pier, Michigan. It's just a short 1 1/2 blocks from Berrien Street Beach and beautiful Lake Michigan -- close enough so that you'll never miss a sunset! Take advantage of the nearby Whistle Stop Cafe and Red Arrow Roadhouse. And it's just a short drive to many other local favorites!

You'll enjoy all the comforts of home with three bedrooms (2 queen and twin bunk) and one bathroom (walk-in shower), washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher, Internet and cable (including MLB extra innings).

The cottage is a great stay for families with a large backyard area (shared with our co-op neighbors), a fire pit, gas grill and outdoor dining space. Take a soak in the private outdoor hot tub (open year-round!) and enjoy the stars to cap off a day at the beach or your time in Harbor Country. Make memories that will last a lifetime at Lake Escape...the beach is calling!

The hosts Tammy and Steve have the most beautiful home, the best location, and all the amenities you could need for your stay, including a hot tub! This is our 6th year staying here and each year we never want to leave! We will definitely be back for year 7!

One of the best stocked rentals I’ve ever had. We appreciated the many extras - books, games, beach accessories etc. Very clean, walkable to beach and good communication with hosts.

Nice clean cottage right down the road from a public beach access. Charming beach decor and owner provided everything a guest would need for their stay. Walking distance to good food and coffee shop. Would definitely stay again!

We always enjoy our trips to the Lake Escape cottage. It’s a beautiful house with all the amenities you need for a fun lake vacation. It’s located within walking distance of a few beaches and several great restaurants and also on the Red arrow bike trail. Steve and Tammy are always quick to respond to questions and make us feel very welcome.

Right off the bat Tammy and Steve were very warm and welcoming! They were very accommodating and truly amazing hosts that really cared and valued our experience! Their place is beautiful inside, and on top of that very clean and organized. We had everything we needed and more for our stay and it was such a great location right in the middle of all places one would want to visit. It was way more spacious than the pictures show, a great open common area right off the beautiful kitchen/breakfast bar and living room. The hot tub was a huge plus and we couldn't be happier with our decision to stay there. HIGHLY recommend this place if you're looking to stay in this area for anything at all! Thank you so much Tammy & Steve for a wonderful stay!

This is our second year in a row staying here for girls weekend! Tammy and Steve are great hosts! If your looking for a place to stay for a close walk to the beach or Wineries this is the cutest place and great location with a hot tub to wind down your day in!

Wonderful

We stayed off season and the price was just right. Walking distance to beach, hot tub is awesome, back yard relaxing. Greeted with wine and a note, hosts were very reachable. Great weekend away

The Lake Escape was one of our best short term rental stays! The owners were really kind and thoughtful, and they really thought of everything when it came to the property, including providing supplies for the beach, fire, and kitchen. Great long weekend getaway

Stayed for a long weekend with family at this beautifully kept cottage. Our hosts were very friendly and offered suggestions about the area that added to our experience. I would definitely stay here again and reccomend to others.

Great house for a vacation!

This was the perfect property for our family to stay at. We were able to easily walk to the beach with the supplied wagon carrying chairs and toys. This was also one of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed at, which is a huge plus.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a great time! The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The hosts were very communicative and very welcoming. The house is very well equipped with everything you could want or need for your stay. We would definitely come back!
