Beautiful Log Cabin on River Road. Walking distance (not waterfront property) from Kenneth Arthur Crossing and convenient to all things Frio! Huge oak trees and abundant wildlife make this an ideal location to relax and enjoy the outdoors....This 3 Bedroom 3 bathroom secluded Concan Texas Getaway Sleeps 14. Did we mention on River Road?!

Come enjoy the fresh air and watch deer meander by on this gorgeous wrap around covered porch or upstairs balcony...Keep the kids occupied in log cabin playhouse with swing set and or Enjoy a game of horseshoes, volleyball, tetherball, cornhole, darts or game of jumbo sized jenga or connect four. Sit by the fire and roast marshmallows in the firepit complete with concrete benches.
The community and we ask that our guest observe a more quite time beginning at 11:00pm. We would appreciate your help with this and enjoy your time at The Log Cabin on River Road!

WALK to the Frio Store to pick up any last minute items leave those heavy storage bins at home!

Fully stocked kitchen as well as BBQ pit and 36” Blackstone Griddle outside

Washer and Dryer located in bath # 3

What is provided at the Log Cabin:

* Kitchen essentials: Dishes and utensils, pots, pans, cutlery, coffee pot, toaster, BBQ Pit, 36” blackstone griddle with utensils, basic cooking tools, microwave, can opener, wine opener, dish towels and sponge
* Dish soap, hand soap
* 2 rolls of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
* Miscellaneous games

Limited amount of rentals will be done on this property to provide utmost care and cleaning for our guests and upkeep on the cabin

The Cabin on River Road is a must when in Concan

My family stayed at The Cabin on River Road for the July 4th holiday. I cannot say enough about this location! The cabin is beautiful and was very comfortable for our group of 15. Even though the Frio wasn't flowing there was plenty to do. The pool was amazing, outdoor and indoor games to keep the family from being bored. Close to Garner State Park, shops, and other activities. We saw deer each morning amd evening. The beds were very comfortable, the a/c was great, and everything you needed was in the kitchen. Even though we were just off the road it felt very secluded with the lovely oak trees surrounding the cabin. My grandkids were asking to go back soon. The host was on the spot with quick responses and easy to work with. If you plan a stay in Concan I HIGHLY recommend the Cabin on River Road! !

Great Location

Everything was perfect for our party of 7. Check in and out was a breeze. Every you need for your stay they had. We took full advantage of the pool and wrap around deck. And the proximity to the general store was really nice as we walked there several times. Would recommend

We love it here!

This is our second stay at the River Cabin and it was just as magical this time around. The location is perfect and set back off the road so you feel a sense of privacy, especially when you're at the pool! The kids had a blast, which in this technology driven world is harder than you think. We would most definitely book again. Great price for the space!!! The wrap around porch is where we started and ended our days. Just lovely.

2nd Stay

This is our groups second time to stay in this cabin and this time was just as great as the first! All the amenities, it being in the close vicinity of the river, the House Pasture, tube rentals, and food! It’s great and we love staying here.

Loved the location

This place was very private and right next to the Frio Store. So it was very convienent to just walk over when we needed something. The house had space for everyone and the pool was amazing.

Great rental

Great property to host a large family vacation. Loved cooking on the Blacktop, and the additional refrigerators were a big bonus. The wrap around porch with large fans and plenty of games was enjoyed by all. Having our own private pool saved this trip since the river was too low and we weren’t able to float the entire time we were there. Would stay here again!

This house was exactly what we were looking for!

Our group had such a great time! The location is great. It was clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. There was so much to do from the games Bbq’n, making s’mores by the fire pit and the pool! Definitely will be back for our next family getaway.

Beautiful pool

The cabin was really nice. The pictures don't do this place justice. Beds were very comfortable, A/C was excellent, and the pool was the best part. There was a total of 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 elementary kids and we all took advantage of the pool during the day and night. The flat top grill and all the outdoor games were a great bonus as well. We cooked all meals the whole time here and had everything we needed. I would definitely rent again! Thank y'all so much for all the great detail taken to make this a wonderful vacation rental!

The Log Cabin was stunning!

The cabin was equipped with everything and more. The beautiful farmhouse decor I couldn’t stop taking pictures of as it’s becoming such a popular trend! It’s safe to say we have now found our new spot in Concan. We’ve stayed in many places there over the years, but nothing tops The Log Cabin on Frio Road! We truly loved our stay and look forward to booking again soon!

This cabin is a gem! We came with 3 families and had plenty of room...kids loved all the games and the pool (even though it was chilly) and we all loved the short walk to hang out in the river. Thanks Susie for sharing your beautiful place!

Holiday Getaway

We had a great time at The Log Cabin. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The location and space was great for our group of 10. We even had a close walk to the river. The outdoor space and activities available were great for our whole group. The kids really enjoyed running around watching the deer come up and eat. The fire pit was also great just to hang outside to enjoy the beautiful weather and the stars, while roasting marshmallows. My only recommendation would be to add a lamp in all bedrooms since we had young children traveling with us. We would definitely rent this property again in the future.

Perfect Family Vacation!!

The Log Cabin is the perfect place for a family vacation! We had 15 people, and had plenty of room, bathrooms, & places to sleep. The games and activities for the kids & grown-ups were so much fun in the evening. We had lots to do when we weren't at the river. We drove to the water each day. River Road is narrow & busy for walking. We took a few cars, paid to park, & hung out at the river each day. It was nice to have a store in walking distance for ice, water, & anything else we needed. The property and home were beautiful with lots of extras!! The owners were very nice and quick to answer any questions.

Great Stay!

Property was great! Easy Access down to crossing. Plenty of room for a group of Ten. Kitchen is a hair on the small side but not a problem or deal breaker. Great amenities like cornhole, darts, volleyball.

Best location!

This house is perfect for a large group! There are plenty of things to do outdoors at the house for kids and large groups. There is a large porch to sit on and watch the deer come up while you drink coffee in the mornings. The kitchen is stocked very well with utensils and appliances. They have a Blackstone griddle outside that is so great to cook breakfast and dinner on! (I even ordered one while I was there) The house is very clean and big and the beds are very comfortable. I like the bunk bed room to put all the kids in one room. The property owner was very easy to get a hold of if needed. We took a trip with friends to get our teenagers out of the house and into the water. The location is perfect! The river and store are literally walking distance! Even though we went when the river was low, we were still able to find things to do. I suggest going to Garner State Park even if you can only get evening passes! We went from 5:30-10 and it was perfect. There are plenty of rope swings and deep water for the kids. We also went to Neal's Lodge. You can get a day pass there and hang out all day at the slides and deep water. And we also went to Seven Bluffs crossing to the gravel bar. We found that there are plenty of shade trees on the river for you to just put your chairs in the water and hang out while the kids are able to play. We absolutely loved this house and location! We will be back.
