Welcome to the Mountain Treehouse! We recently renovated the home with all upgraded amenities. Enjoy comfortable living spaces, outdoor decks, and gorgeous views. After heavy rains, you can even hear the rushing waters from the mountain stream at the base of the property. You will relax and breathe easier here.

Our large, peaceful home is nestled in the tree tops, with oversized windows allowing natural light to fill the space. Vaulted two story ceilings make the home feel wide open and spacious. A two sided wood burning fireplace is the focal point that anchors the main floor and warms the home on chilly nights. A 65 inch t.v. on each side of the fireplace make entertainment easy, no matter which room your are in.

Custom live edge dining room table seats six. Eight unique teak root bar stools surround the enormous kitchen island, completing the seating. Enjoy cooking in this fully equipped kitchen, including both a full sized and beverage fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, griddle, baking supplies, and cooking supplies. There is a coffee station with both drip and keurig options. Afterwards, you can sip your morning coffee and enjoy the views on one of our two outdoor decks.

There is a laundry room on lower level with industrial full sized washer and dryer, drying rack, ironing board and iron. The main level deck with BBQ gas grill, outdoor table with seating, and rocking chairs. The level lower deck has seating and a classic ring hook game.

Split unit air conditioning and heating units mean that each room can customize the perfect temperature for them. There are extra blankets for those cozy winter nights and some beach towels for summer fun. If there has to be work done, use the high speed wifi, and a small office space with a printer. For those traveling with young kids, we have a pack and play, high chair, and plates/cups/ silverware. There are many toys and board games in the loft, perfect for family fun! Settle into any of the cozy spots with a new book to read.

In the backyard, after a 5 min hike to the base of our property, there is a hiking trail along a creek. In the summer time, supervised kids can play in the creek while adults breathe in the peaceful nature. Along that trail is a moderate hike out to Shamokin Falls, wintergreen's own waterfall!

On lower level
Bedroom 1: Sleeps 2. Master bedroom with custom made live edge King bed and matching custom furniture. Flat screen tv. Private ensuite spa like bathroom with 74 gallon soaking tub, oversized glass shower complete with rain shower head and river rock flooring. Access to lower level deck.

Bedroom 2: Sleeps 2. Lower level guest room. Queen bed and full chest of drawers. Flat screen t.v. Enormous jack and jill bathroom with glass shower with river rock flooring. Access to lower level deck.

Bedroom 3: Bunk room! Kids will love these custom wooden bunk beds! Three twin bunks sleeps six kids (or adults!) They will be giggling and whispering to each other long after the lights turn out.

On Main Level:
Bedroom 4: Sleeps 2. Main level guest room with pocket doors and a queen bed. Adjacent bathroom with hickory cabinets and tiled shower that shares main level.

On Loft Level:
Sleeps 2. Bonus 5th space with queen bed. Easy access with wide staircase. Shares main level bathroom.

There are so many activities in the area as well
- Hiking- the base of our home to the falls, nearby Crabtree falls, Pauls Creek (a natural waterslide for kids after a short an easy hike)
- Skiing and Snowboarding in the wintertime. We are a short ride to the lifts where you can enjoy all the amenities of the Wintergreen Resort.
- Golf- Guests can enjoy the course at the base of the mountain
- Kids Adventure Center- Ninja warrior, Rock climbing, Trampolines, Gem Mining
- The Plunge- Tubing in the summer and Snow Tubing in the winter
- Nearby to countless Breweries, Wineries, and Cideries with stunning mountain views.
