We had a fantastic stay, the cabin was exactly what we needed and fit our family of 5 perfectly. Great views of the water and abundant relaxation. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we’re back in area.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin was exactly as pictured, with a great porch and excellent views of the lake. We brought kayaks and spent a lot of time exploring the lake. We would highly recommend it.

Very comfortable roomy family-friendly cabin with wonderful views. Bryan is a great host who is super responsive. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay.

Rustic retreat in the woods! Our family had a great few days at the Badwater Lodge. The place was clean and well stocked with plenty of room to spread out. The games were fun and the lake access was great too. Communication with the host was easy and timely throughout.

The Great Outdoors

We had a great time with family in this delightful cabin. It's a great location to enjoy all there is to do in the UP. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great spot

Wonderful location overlooking the river. The dock was in great shape and the boat launch was very close. This was perfect for our yearly father son fishing trip.

Rustic Chalet

The Badwater Lodge was exactly as pictured - great space and rustic charm. Easily accommodated our multigenerational party of 7. Picturesque deck with overview of the water - great for spending downtime with family...and a quick drive to local attractions.

Clean place with a beautiful view!! Had everything we needed ! We got quite a work out from the stairs to and from the water !

Nice place...

Bryan was a good communicator. Place was as described. Very nice view from the back deck. Overall a very nice experience.

Excellent accommodations

Bryan was extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed the board games, darts, and video games. Highly recommend!

Spread Eagle

Very nice cabin with a game room for the kids and a gorgeous view off of the back deck. We had a great time and it worked out well for us.

Great stay!

This was exactly what we were looking for. We do an annual guys weekend where we fish and golf. This spot was very close to some good courses and the fishing on the river was great! We caught crappies, bass, and northerns. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Would definitely look to come here again on future trips.

Great property for family time

This was a great place for us to stay at. It was not too far from what we had planned to do in the area. It was relaxing to sit on the deck and look out over the river. There was plenty to of games to keep the kids occupied and have family game nights. The neighbors are a little close, but overall, the house is nice and provided the escape we were looking for.

Everything was wonderful

A cute cabin with nice kitchen & living room. As the parents we got the king size bed that we enjoyed. Beautiful view of the lake. Our adult family enjoyed enjoyed it too playing games on the outside patio table.

Peaceful, yet so much to do!

The house was perfect for my husband and older children. The kids were able to fish every day and relax in the water. Easy access to the UTV trails which where great fun with the recent rains, and plenty of activities in the surrounding communities. We will definitely coming back again 😊

Really nice stay!

Great property and location overall. Owner was helpful and quick to answer all questions. Cabin inside had everything you could need. Outdoor equipment did lack for activities. The fire pit was nice but the location is not very private and seems like it would be difficult to find a better place.

Thanks for the 5 star review and for the helpful tips and we will see what we can do. The fire pit would be hard to move anywhere else because of a potential fire hazard. We have tried to make it easy access and as private as possible.
