Lakefront property with Private Dock on Lake Antoine. Spa-like bathroom w/ sauna, steam shower, jetted soaker tub for two, and Smart TV located in the Spa-bathroom! Great room with double-sided fireplace. Located in Iron Mountain, MI. Close to boat ramp, public beach, Pine Mountain Ski Jump, and all of the local favorite restaurants and shopping!

Pine Mountain Ski Hill 3.6 miles
Snowmobile Trailhead Under 1 mile (you can access the trail from the house on your sleds)
Lake Antoine Public Beach 1.8 miles
Public Boat Launch/Ramp .2 miles (less than quarter mile from house)

Notice-We are committed to protecting the security and privacy of our guests and our property. Therefore, we have exterior cameras that monitor the front entrance, garage, and private dock. There are no cameras inside the house, the audio is only turned on if we receive a noise complaint after 10pm, and the cameras are not monitored on a "live" basis.

Note that the house sits at the top of several stairs. The stairs have an easy, gradual rise & run. The back entrance to the home has the same number of stairs. There is no wheelchair accessibility.

There are no blinds on the windows in the Great Room; this is "by design" so that your view to the lake is unobstructed. Please note this for any guests that are sleeping on the Queen pullout sofa. (there is still complete PRIVACY in the house, there are no neighbors windows that allow a view into the Great Room)

Perfect end of January weekeend getaway!

A great location, with beautiful views made this a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed—modern amenities, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a cozy fireplace. Aside from all of that, the bathroom was the star of the show & the place that we spent most of the weekend! When we weren't taking advantage of the water works, we spent the bulk of our time watching the local family of deer play in the fresh snow.Our host was proactive, helpful & responsive, ensuring our stay was smooth from start to finish. Whether you're looking for a romantic retreat or a family getaway, this cabin is an excellent choice. We would definitely book again!

restorative and cozy

My husband and I had an amazing stay for his birthday weekend. The spa bathroom is exceptional, but the entire home is comfortable and well-appointed with amazing views of the lake. You'll have everything you need to cook, relax and unwind. Great restaurants in town too. We'll be back for sure!

Beautiful home

Stayed here for a weekend while attending a wedding in Iron Mountain. The home was beautiful, super clean and a fully stocked kitchen with anything you might need. I would absolutely stay here again during a trip to Iron Mountain.

Cozy & Fully Equipped

My husband and I were in town to celebrate Thanksgiving with family who live in Iron Mountain. The house was very cozy, and the views were beautiful. We had deer spending all day in the backyard, waterfowl on the lake, and eagles flying overhead. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was rare for a car to drive by. The house had everything we needed for our stay, and we easily cooked several side dishes for Thanksgiving. The bed we slept on was very comfortable. If you need to work remotely while visiting, the only issue may be the internet speed if you need to have virtual meetings. It was okay but a little choppy during my meetings. Overall, it was one of the best rentals we have been to, and we will stay again when we return to town.

Wonderful quiet weekend away

I had a perfect solo weekend to recharge. The neighborhood was super quite. I never saw a car on the street. The living room was comfortable and great to relax in. The bathroom was the star of the show. The steam shower was wonderful. The host communication was excellent. I can't recommend this house enough!

Beautiful and clean

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood with pretty lake views. Lots of deer and turkey in the yard. We would love to stay again sometime.

Lake cottage

Kelley is an amazing host. She was quick to communicate, left detailed instructions to the features of the house and the area. The cottage was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. If we return to the area we will definitely look to stay here! Thanks Kelley! ☺️

Very nice

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The house is so cute, very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was amazing. Wonderful appliances and the layout was great and excellent pans/dishes, etc. the bathroom was amazing and relaxing. Kelley was wonderful to work with. The only negative for us was the comfort of the bed. The bed was the firmest bed we have ever slept in. (The bed in the other bedroom was softer). The views from the house are breathtaking and we loved watching the family of deer in the back yard.

A total gem

This property is unique- a lot of the other properties are farther from Iron Mountain or look like you’re staying at someone’s actual house. This place was clean, had great amenities, and the host literally had thought of everything! My son enjoyed baths while watching cartoons and we enjoyed the layout of two very well-appointed bedrooms and a spacious bath. Communication with the host was very easy, and the views of the lake were stunning.

Awesome as always!!

We had another excellent stay! Our kids love all the wildlife and have a blast kayaking! And I enjoy getting to have a little spa day with the jacuzzi, steam shower, and sauna ☺️ You really can’t beat the amenities at this place! Kelley has great communication and is always prompt to respond if we have any questions. Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!!

Beautiful home!

We had such a lovely visit! Kelley’s house is beautiful and it was so clean. It had anything and everything you could possibly need for your stay. So many thoughtful little details that did not go unnoticed. We could not have asked for a better place. Kelley was so responsive and even checked in on us the 2nd day there ti make sure we had everything we needed, which we did! We will definitely be booking her place again in the future. Christen

Yoopers Return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Lake House! This property is well kept, well furnished, and well equipped. It has all the comforts of home in a quiet neighborhood along the lake with an abundance of wildlife that shows up daily. It doesn’t feel like you are in town, but you are! Not far from shopping or the beach and there are restaurants within walking distance! We hope to stay here on our future return trips to the U.P.!

Great host better house

Me and my wife stayed here for our anniversary! We were impressed even before our stay. Our host answered every single question we had very quickly. She also checked in with us a week before the trip to let us know she may be able to get us in early and to make sure we didnt have any questions or concerns for our upcoming trip! Once we got to the house we were even more impressed! Kelley had thought of everything you might need even down to a cocktail shaker and bar utensils and little half and half creamers. The house and was beautiful and quiet. There are neighbors but you wouldn't have known if u couldn't see the houses. We had to email kelley about a couple things once we got there and she handled it right away. We had an amazing time. It was a nice escape from our world of chaos. We are already looking forward to booking with kelley again in the near future. Thank You Kelley for sharing your gorgeous house! Hopefully we will see it again soon!

We will be back!!

This was a great getaway! My wife and I were looking for a place to unplug and reconnect. Needless to say, this was the perfect place to do so. The steam shower and hot tub were outstanding! We had a little snag with the suana (make sure to turn it til it clicks, when turning it off). We were prunie most of the weekend. LOL!! We do wish the patio furniture was out, but understand that it is still kinda early in the season (end of April). Although we brought everything we needed, the accommodations provided anything you could have forgotten and then some. She had even left us a bag of her favorite coffee with a lovly note suggesting places to visit in the area. We woke up to deer taking a nap in the back yard and baby geese eating in the grass by the lake with their parents. It was a wonderful time and "We will be back....

Cozy & Quiet

We stayed 6 nights at this cozy, quiet home. It was the perfect place to hang out with a wonderful view. Coffee watching the changing scenery over the lake in the mornings was really special. Kelly was a great Hostess, having all the amenities that we needed during our stay. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Love this place - book it!

Our second stay at the Lake Escape felt just as cozy and welcoming as before. The bathroom, with its spa-like vibe, was a favorite spot for us both times. Kelley, our host, has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable, from board games to lake activities and a fully loaded kitchen (not with food, obviously). See for yourself and enjoy a relaxing getaway at the Lake Escape!

Winter Getaway

Great little updated cottage in a cute small town. Spa features are great, large fireplace, lots of space to cook and hang out. No snow but the lake was frozen and fun to venture out on.

Winter getaway

Stayed in this lovely home for a weekend getaway! The host was very responsive and welcoming! Loved checking out the town and the charm it offers. Definitely want to come back in summer time to enjoy the big windows and lake view!

Slice of heaven

This property blew my mind. It shows amazing online, but what it doesnt show is just how peaceful and serene the property really is. It is in town yet out of town and quiet. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The host went above and beyond to answer any questions and make sure things went well upon arrival. I would highly recommend this place for a couples getaway especially.

My name is Kelley. I moved to this area of the Upper Peninsula during high school and fell in love with it! My high school sweetheart, Dave, is from Iron Mountain, MI. We spent many summers on Lake Antoine.

We chose this property because we love spending time on Lake Antoine. It is perfect for boating, swimming, fishing, and ice-fishing in the winter. The house sits high on the property which offers a stunning view of the lake and the trees on the hill across from the lake. It is perfectly peaceful!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our guests often share pictures of all the wildlife that is visible right through the large windows facing the lake. There are almost always deer visiting the property, eagles flying overhead as they fish from the lake, and plenty of chipmunks and squirrels that love all of our huge trees that tend to drop acorns for gathering.

The spa-like bathroom is incredibly unique and is often the MAIN reason guests choose to stay at the property! The sauna is a true sauna (not just infrared), the steam-shower is truly soothing, and who wouldn't like soaking in the tub while binge-watching their favorite shows?!

In the winter, you can access a nearby snowmobile trailhead directly from the house. You can take your sled from the property, onto the lake, and follow the trail directly to the trailhead at US 2 and Lake Antoine Road. The long driveway offers plenty of room for trailers with snowmobiles aboard.
