Came here with friends for a weekend get away and had an amazing time! The beach is very close and all the food we had around town was delicious!

Great location close to everything in Surf City, love the sound views. Hosts responded quickly when we had a question. Would stay again!

The quick easy beach access from the house made this location a great fit for us. We loved catching the sunrise on the beach every morning with a cup of tea. The host was super responsive with everything. We appreciate a well equipped kitchen because we mostly cook in on vacation. The back deck was enjoyable as well with a beautiful view of the marsh and back bay sunsets. Though it's on the main drag walking to town one or two blocks east is easy. The outdoor shower and all the beach gear available is a bonus too.

Amazing location!

Beautiful sunsets, short walk to the beach, and all the beach gear you could think of accessible to you! We loved our stay here. Communicating with the owner was easy and fast as well. Would absolutely recommend this home to a friend.

Great Family Property

Came in for the week to relax and enjoy the beach. Anita and her home are awesome. She was very responsive and made sure we had what was needed. 8 of us stayed there very comfortably!

Friends and family stayed together for a long weekend. The property is very clean and access to the beach is very convenient. We had a special request which the owner was very generous in allowing us. The view of the sound is wonderful, and the sunsets are beautiful.

Amazing Time!

My friends and I greatly enjoyed the house and accommodations! Great facilities, nice beds, and only a short distance to the beach. Would stay here again in the future and eagerly recommend this space to others!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Anita responded quickly to any questions I had and made the process seamless. The view of the sunsets was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed to both cook in or just to have take out! Highly recommend!

Great House for Big Families

Beautiful property, tons of things inside and outside to do/use to keep kiddos entertained and comfortable. My kids loved the bunk beds and cooking in the kitchen was a dream! We’re already talking about coming back next year!

Sunset over the Sound!

Really enjoyed the stay at this sound front location over Labor Day weekend. Just a half mile walk into town and the beach was just one block over. Kitchen is well stocked and plenty of beach equipment in the storage room so we didn’t have to haul everything from Wake Forest.

Loved everything about this house

The house is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you need. Mattresses are high quality and very comfortable. We will be back.

Amazing experience

The house was super clean, orgnaized, and provided MANY kitchen appliances. There was no struggle with preparing food. The area was great and super close to the beach.

Location was ideal, there was a small path leading straight to the beach where the beach wasn’t too crowded. The place was very clean with professionally cleaned linens. My only complaint was the bed 2 of the beds were not comfortable at all. The master and the room in the front and the noise from the street and planes made it hard to sleep. However the beach is why were there and I was grateful we chose this location! View from the back was beautiful.

A gem!

We adored this place! We stayed during the shoulder season, and I wanted someplace that was close to the beach, had a good kitchen (we love cooking) and had a nice view, in case it rained (which it did). This ticks all those boxes and more. The owner was super responsive when we had a question. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

almost as good as oceanfront

Loved the property. View of sound from back deck was stunning. House lived bigger than it looks. Kitchen and living area flowed well and having 2 seating areas was great. Big pantry and closets in bedroom and bathrooms. Nice yard for the kids to play in and they loved the swings. Overall a great property. Owners were responsive to any problems we had.

Pictures are accurate

Great location. Easy check-in. Inside was clean. The quilts had to be washed before making the beds because they were stained. The beds weren’t comfortable. There were ants in the kitchen when we checked in. Contacted host and they responded quickly on where they thought it was coming from and a recommendation on what we could do for it. Overall it was a decent stay.

Family Fun

This property is ideal for making fun memories with your family. Amazing views for gathering together including beautiful sunsets over the intercoastal water, plenty of space for , 2 1/2 bathrooms made showering much easier with our group of 7, parking for 4 vehicles, indoor & outdoor games available for quality time & laughs, beach equipment/ toys were a bonus especially the surf boards. The outdoor shower and additional hose made beach clean up much easier. Multi level balconies provided plenty of seating & opportunity to view wildlife together. Hosts were quick to respond and genuinely kind. There is even a path available with the property that leads you to the beach within a block. We made so many FUN memories as a family!
