Glen Lake Sunset Escape

Escape to the shores of Glen Lake, NY for all the beauty and tranquility it has to offer. This property features a private dock, kayaks, paddle board and a canoe for all your boating, fishing and swimming pleasure. It doesn’t stop there, enjoy the property all year long. X-country skiing, skating, hockey, ice fishing and centrally located to multiple ski resorts in NY and Vermont.

This direct waterfront home was recently reconstructed to maximize lake and mountain views with high quality features throughout. The home's 1st floor design has a living room w/view, dining room w/view, bedroom w/view, a very modern kitchen w/snack bar for 4 people, full bath and a laundry room. The second floor boasts hardwood floors, a master bedroom with majestic views, a 2nd bedroom and a ceramic tile bathroom with a double vanity, and walk-in shower. Enjoy some of the spectacular sunsets while having your choice of dining outside under cover or in the open air on the wrap- around deck. This property also features a air transfer system for fresh air being transferred in to the house.

Centrally located, this property is minutes to Lake George, Saratoga, the Great Escape fun park, shopping, fine dining, hiking, skiing and all the amenities the Adirondacks have to offer.

Beautiful location right on a quiet lake near Lake George. Good size lawn space and nice porch area for outdoor time. Dock is great to use the kayaks and canoe that are provided.

Perfect Escape

This is our second year staying at Sunset Escape. The owners are wonderful and friendly people. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities that you could need. We enjoyed the lake and the kayaks and being a short car ride away from Lake George village. Oh, and the kitchen is excellent with everything you need to cook meals while you stay!

Grandparents Weekend!

This property is a wonderful place for a quiet weekend. This inside was spotless and “move in ready.” We loved the layout! Our only suggestion would be a couple reading lamps at the bedsides. We all agreed we would visit again!

WOW!!! What a week :)

Renting this property at Glen Lake was the BEST vacation decision we have ever made. The owners did not miss a thing when they prepared this house for weekly guests. Incredibly clean, homey, and tons of fun do not do it justice. Steps away from the lake with a view from every window. So much to do at the property and then just 15 minutes from Lake George. If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place to do it. We look forward to visiting again and again and again!!!!

Amazing stay

From the moment we walked into the house we knew we would come back next year! House was recently redone and the decor was spot on. We had everything we could have possibly needed and the house was sparkling clean. Our hosts, Pat and Chris were available right next door if needed. They gave us great advice on local places to go to eat and just chill out. Kayaks and paddleboard provided were brand new and allowed my family to be outside just enjoying the lake. My teens loved it which is saying a lot. A perfect gem!

Nothing short of wonderful

Our stay here was amazing! The house has everything you need and more. It’s spacious, clean, homey, and gorgeous. We loved utilizing the beautiful lake right behind the property. They provided numerous kayaks and a canoe that we loved taking out as a group. Prior to our trip we asked about bringing our own fire pit- that was the only thing we wished the property had. Next thing we know Christine let’s us know that they now have one with wood in the shed! Definitely will come back again. We have not one bad thing to say about this property.

We had another wonderful stay at this house on Glen Lake in Queensbury, NY. The home was clean, spacious, and well-equipped—the kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoyed using the grill, canoe, corn hole, and the dock for both swimming and fishing. The view of the lake is absolutely beautiful and makes for a relaxing getaway. This was our second time staying here, and we would definitely return again.

Wonderful!

Just as other reviewers have said, the home and property are immaculate and have everything you need for a relaxing vacation on the lake. The kayaks, canoe and paddleboard are great and the lake itself is quiet and beautiful. More importantly, Christine was such a pleasure to work with and a great host. She promptly answered all questions and even had her daughter (a pastry chef) surprise us with a delicious homemade birthday cake for our arrival. What a thoughtful and lovely gift! We enjoyed our stay so much and hope to return again in the future.

This is a beautiful home. The house is a roomy 3 bedroom that is very clean. The property is great, with direct lake access and a dock. We liked the community around the house and were a short drive to Laker George and Bolton Lake. The owner, Christine, was excellent to deal with. We highly recommend.

Such a special week! Can’t wait to visit again!

We had an incredible week at this beautiful rental! The house is absolutely gorgeous and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. The view of Glen Lake from the living area and master bedroom was a dream come true each day. I even slept with the blinds open to make sure we could wake up to the stunning view of the lake. The property itself is breathtaking, with the private dock offering the perfect spot for swimming in the warm, comfortable lake water. Christine and Pat are exceptional hosts. They thought of everything and were incredibly communicative, even giving us a heads-up about approaching storms, which turned out to be absolutely beautiful as well. The house is immaculate and so spacious. We took full advantage of the fire pit and made countless amazing memories during our stay. Plus, it’s just a few minutes drive into Lake George village and close to outlet shopping. What made this stay even more special was that my partner of 8 years and I eloped during our visit. We initially sought a place around Lake George for our intimate ceremony, as the area is dear to us, but we instantly fell in love with Christine and Pat’s property. We chose to elope by the beautiful tree in front of the dock. I had informed Christine of our plans beforehand, and upon arrival, we were delighted to find a delicious, stunning wedding cake made by her daughter, an incredible pastry chef. We are still so very thankful! This trip is one my husband and I will never forget. Thank you again!

Absolutely beautiful property in great location!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. The house was perfect and had everything we needed for a week's stay. Everyone enjoyed going out on the lake on the kayaks and paddle boards. We took day trips and did so many amazing things nearby. Home is delightful and in a great location! Views are outstanding!
