The house was clean and ready for our stay. Right on the river and perfect for keeping the guys busy fishing. Loved the use of the kayaks. Only negative is being on a main highway, at night it really slows down a lot. No A/C.

Overall, the cabin/house was clean, warm, and had many amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Two aspects of the listing that others might find useful include: (1) the house is located right off (15 to 20 feet) of a main road and (2) WiFi ran at 1-4 mbps as opposed to 100 mbps as indicated in the listing.

The hosts and the Treehouse were incredible. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Such a lovely home and gorgeous view of the river. Tons to do in the area. We cannot wait to plan our next trip. Thank you so much for sharing this little slice of heaven . We had such a great time

The property was right on the river and very clean. So peaceful! The weather was mostly cold and rainy during our trip but we’re looking forward to staying again next year and kayaking the river. Great location between munising and Marquette!

This was our first time to the UP and overall we had a wonderful trip! The Pictured Rocks Cruise and kayaking down the Au Train were both amazing experiences! There are so many waterfalls and adventures very close by! We sat down at the dock many evenings and had a campfire one night (Bring bug spray!!). The view from sitting in the chairs in the main bedroom was beautiful!!Unfortunately, there were a few things that were not as we expected. In the pictures, a window ac unit is shown. It is still there, but no longer in service. We were there during a heat spell where the heat index reached over 100. While there are a couple ceiling fans and several portable fans provided, a few days and nights were miserable. We also felt that the cleaning expectations exceeded what is typically asked. We've stayed in countless VRBO properties and have never been asked to clean windows and mirrors before, let alone vacuum. It's clear many don't do this as we found dog food behind the couch and goldfish on the main bedroom floor. We will definitely be returning to the UP as soon as we can!

Well stocked,great location.

The treehouse was well stocked with items you would need. We loved the location, the views of the river were beautiful. Nice to have a full kitchen, as food and coffee shops are limited in Minising. Great time at Pictured Rocks!

Great Location

This comfortable cabin was in a great central location. We used it as our home base for our U.P. outdoor adventures.

Our stay on the Au Train river was just wonderful! Kayaking was so much fun and the beach just down the road was stunning-we walked the shore every day.

Awesome Location

Beautiful setting, very nice cabin on wonderful lazy river. Easy driving distance to Pictured Rocks, Lake Superior beaches and towns with restaurants and shops.

Wonderful Getaway

Great little cabin for us and our two dogs. Good location near munising, short drive to marquette and grand Marais. Communication with the owner was prompt. This place had everything we needed, will definitely be back!

Treehouse Vacation

Treehouse is a great place to relax and take in all the beauty of Au Train river. The place has everything you need. The general store is right down the road. Being located between Marquette and Munising, there are several waterfalls and hiking trails to visit. Best adventure ever!

The house is beautiful and really well equipped for all needs. The view of the AuTrain river is only eclipsed by its location - go down some steps and it’s right there. Close to Lake Superior. The beach is lovely and not terribly crowded. Great central location- close to Marquette and Munising plus a couple small markets down the street. Love, love, loved it!!
