This is a beautiful property and responsive host. I’d give it 5 stars for sure, except for one important detail—the shower is a tiny corner shower with a rounded door. It was small for all of us, very difficult to maneuver for anyone with broad shoulders!

It’s a bummer the shower wasn’t a good fit. I hope at least the excellent water pressure and never-ending hot water supply helped! We are glad to hear that aside from the shower, your stay was 5 star worthy! Thanks for staying with us :)

Host was great! Valerie made several suggestions of things to do in the area. Made planning each day so much easier. Home was clean. Lake view was beautiful.

We had a wonderful time. The cabin is beautiful. The lake was perfect. Great location. Host was responsive. Little bit of off roading to get there with gravel and sand roads but that didn’t bother us. Thank you for a great vacation.

We had an amazing stay! The location was beautiful and super quiet. The house itself had everything we needed and was comfy. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking at the lake. The house was close to Munising so we were able to do day trips for various activities there. Everything was perfect. The hosts were excellent as well.

We had a great time here, this place is down a well kept seasonal, unpaved, road and just far enough out from the main road that there was no traffic other than ourselves and a few neighbors. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful! Very nice fire pit outside, and a gas stove inside to help take the fall chill out of the cabin if needed. Beautiful views of the lake and it was nice having use of the kayaks. Plenty of space even though it was just two of us. Nice large kitchen! Shower stall was a bit small, so if you're on the larger side, it might be a little difficult to take a good shower, but it had plenty of hot water! This was honestly a beautiful, clean cabin that provided a week of rest and relaxation for us. Would definitely recommend! Don't skip on the foggy morning lake views - Breathtaking!

The house and property were exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and comfortable. We even had pretty decent reception and only lost GPS signal briefly a couple times. We have AT&T. You will be traveling on dirt and gravel roads, be prepared to slow down and have dirty car lol It is quite remote which is exactly what we wanted. So peaceful and quiet, yet only 20-25 minutes to the town of Munising.

This property is amazing! It was exactly as shown in photos and was very clean. The host, Valerie, is very easy to chat with and answers right away if you have questions. This was a great home base for us in the UP to explore Pictured Rocks and even a day trip to Marquette. We stayed with our 3 teenagers and we all enjoyed the cabin and especially the dock. The provided kayaks and paddle boat were great. Would definitely recommend!

We loved staying at this cabin. It was very clean and our host responded promptly to all my messages. Top notch all the way from the location and everything else. Absolutely zero complaints. I would highly recommend.

We loved our stay! The property, home & scenery was beautiful. We didn’t leave our whole stay due to there being plenty to do on site. The home was clean & absolutely lovely. Would stay again!

Beautiful Setting

The property had a peaceful, pretty setting. It was very clean and had everything our family needed. The location was very convenient to Munising and everything else we wanted to see.

The cabin was perfect for our family of five. Beautiful, peaceful property. Loved the view of the lake (and the loons), kayaks and fire pit. It was a fantastic home base for our family to explore Pictured Rocks and the surrounding area. Property owner was also wonderful to work with. I've now personally recommended the property to many of my friends!

Loon Landing at Mirror Lake

Very peaceful house and lake. Experienced power out in the evening but owner acted promptly and power back in a few hours. Didn't expect that speed in such remote area.

Relaxing getaway

We knew we were going to love staying here as soon as we pulled in the driveway. The house was very clean and the views were amazing. The kids enjoyed fishing the paddle boat and making s’mores. The house definitely lived up to expectations.

Fantastic location, isolated yet near enough (25 minutes) to everything from shopping to hiking to fishing. What really amazed us was how incredibly clean the house was! I have a son who is terrified of spiders and a spouse that is terribly allergic to mold and dust. Everyone was good! I highly recommend this cabin :)

Private Peaceful Getaway

This was our second peaceful stay at Mirror Lake. The home was clean and comfortable. We loved seeing the loons, kingfishers, frogs, and osprey fly-by. We swam and kayaked our cares away. Valerie is a wonderful and accommodating host. Highly recommend this lovely getaway.

Great family vacation on this property

This property was exactly as promised. Kitchen was fully stocked, extremely clean and orderly house and great outdoor area for a campfire. The owner was quick to respond to questions. So glad we chose this location for our family vacation. Will definitely keep it in mind for the future.

We loved Loon Landing

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. All of our questions were answered promptly, the owners are very nice and courteous. The cabin itself was adorable and clean. The lake is beautiful, we enjoyed it to the fullest. Swimming, fishing, boating, and kayaking. We enjoyed campfires and the scenery. We would highly recommend.

Loon Landing

This our second time staying at Loon Landing and we enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time! Autumn is beautiful but so was June! The hosts are friendly and respond promptly. There is quite a bit to do in the surrounding area. The property itself is clean, cozy, and welcoming!
