Two quality furnished bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, sunroom and balcony. Children welcome. Minimum of two night stay school and public holidays.

We can cater for one or two couples and family groups in a Bed & Breakfast accommodation. Continental Breakfast with a local input. Breakfast is served in the sunroom with the sun rising in the east behind Mt Paku. Evenings offer spectacular views of the sun setting behind the Pinnacles from your balcony.

Tairua offers an 18 hole golf course, with magnificent views of the Coromandel Ranges, Pepe Estuary, Township of Tairua, Tairua harbour and sea views to the east of the Shoe, Slipper and Mayor Islands. climb Mt Paku and take in the breath-taking views. Legend has it a climb to the top of Mt Paku will see you returning to our paradise withing 7 years.

Play on our local golf course, or visit Whangamata, Purangi or Mercury Bay golf courses are all within 45 minutes drive of Tairua. Play locally and receive a 10% discount on your first round of golf and a complimentary beer, wine or juice. Golf clubs and cart available. Organise onsite with your hosts.

Ladies, the local shops and cafes are a 5 minute stroll away.

Dine out at one of Tairua's excellent restaurants or bring home takeaways and relax in the comfort of your home.

A lovely place to stay

Great place to stay, with very comfortable beds and pillows, very clean and tidy. My friend and I were just passing through Tairua with our teen daughters so this was the perfect place for a night. Equally, we could have stayed longer as the house is in a great location for Tairua and surrounding sights. Another time! Our hosts Jan and Craig were great, easy and prompt to deal with and had added lovely details to the accommodation, nespresso machine, selection of herbal tea, great books on NZ and cosy dressing gown and slippers. When we woke up to rain, they also left an umbrella out for us to use which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place.

The bear family

We only staid for one night. We enjoyed the B & B and bears, we wouldn't want to have missed it. Nice stay just outside Tairua. Service was what you like from a B $ B. Thanks heaps The three girls from Auckland.

Super Empfang, 2 Schlafzimmer, alles sauber, Frühstück im Kühlschrank. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, auf der Durchreise. Hat alles gepasst.

Craig and Jan are locals who have been hosting guests for close on 20 years in our home. We are both keen golfers, retired school teachers and dog owners. Minty, our small fox terrier feature loves to meet and greet guests. Teddy bears also feature throughout our home for those of you that are in need of a cuddly friend during your stay. Jan is a arctophile. Our bears have travelled the world in photos. We have the local knowledge to make your visit a memorable one and will endeavor to make sure your needs are met during your stay.
