If you want to relax with an amazing view this is your place! Loved the outdoor porch area for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Close to Whitefish point and the falls. I would certainly return.

Beautiful home on Lake Superior. Quiet and private. Stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Nice seating outside and fire pit. The only minor suggestion is to bring your own pillows, there were only thin ones. But overall we enjoyed ourselves.

Our family vacation couldn’t have been in a better location! We were looking for something on Lake Superior with gorgeous views and a fire-pit. Our long weekend was the perfect combination of fun activities and back to the house for relaxing family time. We started our mornings with coffee on the deck watching the sunrise and ended our nights watching the stars come out. This rental was clean, comfortable and large enough for our family of 6 adults! We already are looking at next year’s calendar to come back! Thank you Stuckey’s for opening your home to me & mine. 10/10.

The home is beautiful. It is, of course, in a beautiful location, overlooking Whitefish Bay and Lake Superior. Our only complaint was that the house wasn't as clean as we expected it would be. The beautiful area rugs need a good vacuuming. There was dust accumulation around the perimeters of the hardwood floors. The kitchen counters, sinks, and cabinets need a good cleaning. We enjoyed staying there. It was very comfortable and peaceful.

This property was beautiful and restful, and in a great location. Our party of 5 adults were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the lake views from the deck and dock. The sound of the water was perfect for sleeping. The house was comfortably furnished and well-equipped. I highly recommend.

The home is amazing! It was a perfect place for a sisters trip. It was super comfortable, in a beautiful location and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. It served as a peaceful place to relax, as well as a perfect home base for exploring nearby lighthouses, waterfalls, and a day trip to Mackinac Island.I would love to visit again! Highly recommend!

The property and location were very nice. I would stay here again. Being on the water was a big plus, and if you’re careful climbing up and down the rocks that lead to the water, it’s worth it. Nice sand bar about 50 feet out. Rooms were nice and comfy, plenty of space to hang out and watch a movie at night. The bonfire area and chairs were nice and there was firewood so we didn’t have to purchase ourselves. Check in and check out process was smooth and the owners were good with communication.

We very much enjoyed our stay! Gitchie Gumee Lodge is very conveniently located very close to Paradise and a short drive from The Shipwreck Museum in one direction and Tahquamenon Falls in the other. The house is lovely and has everything we needed including great views of the bay. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the waves. Kitchen was well-stocked and very nice, as well!

This is a great place if you want peace and quiet! Right on Lake Superior, the house is well laid out and very comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need. The host responds quickly and is super helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is beautiful! Great location in the trees by the lake. Note that you cannot easily access the lake from the property due to a cliff of boulders, which was the only downside. We really enjoyed the house, including the beautiful primary bedroom upstairs. Everything is well-stocked for your stay.We visited in summer and the power went out multiple times. We contacted the owner and he got back to us fairly quickly with instructions to turn on the gas generator in the garage, which powers a portion of the house.

Beautiful home with a fantastic view of the lake. Well decorated and stocked with everything you could need. Comfy beds and very nice linens. We will definitely return. Quiet and peaceful. Do bring your groceries as it’s quite a drive to find a full grocery store. Very close to the Lake Superior ship wreck museum and the falls. A perfect getaway.

This property was absolutely beautiful! It was everything my family and I wanted. We wanted a place where we could enjoy being right on Lake Superior and the outdoor space was AMAZING! It had some beach space which it looked like other properties around did not. We used the firepit almost every night and the host even provided the wood to burn. Multiple Adirondack chairs to use to either enjoy the fire, look out over the lake or sit on the deck. Having a washer and a dryer available to use was a godsend with a family of 6. The beds were super comfortable. Checking in was extremely simple as well.

The Gitchie Gumie was truly amazing an did not disappoint in anyway. Waking w/ the sunrise and enjoying magic beans in the large mugs provided, enjoying breakfast in the well appointed kitchen, taking in the views in the Adirondack chairs ... all inspired me to paint a watercolor on the porch ... music and a glass of vino! Perfect. Had surf and turf on the grill, enjoyed the fireplace ... everyday dialing into relaxation ... comfortable beds, lovely well appointed bathrooms. Truly lovely. Only one small suggestion, please consider supplying martini glasses. With that ... I would rate 5 stars and will come back!Best,Lisa
