Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Bear Den. The house is beautiful and well stocked with anything you might need as well as there being a gorgeous view of the water. We were pleasantly surprised how calm the water was in front of the beach house compared to Whitefish Point. Even though it was September a few family members did get in the water. Our family loved looking for rocks especially; Yooperlites and Agates on multiple beaches during our stay. The kids loved the upstairs game/play room.We enjoyed visiting Oswald's Bear Ranch and Tahquamenon Falls even in the rain. We look forward to visiting the Upper Peninsula again.

Hast to be the best place to stay in the entire eastern UP! Our family loved it. Clean, comfy, fun and so well done. The views are amazing and the home is too.

Fabulous house in a magnificent location. Host was very communicative and helpful. This VRBO was a group favorite from about 8 family/group trips over the last 4 years. Don’t hesitate to book this property, you won’t be disappointed!

The house was nice. Everything was well done. I would have preferred the path to the front do be shoveled. I would have preferred not to have to deal with a separate corporate website.

Our stay at the Bear Den was absolutely wonderful. The setting was quiet, peaceful, and incredibly serene—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights was watching the rafting ice drift, and stack on the lake; it was truly beautiful and mesmerizing. We were even lucky enough to spot a wolf out on the ice and a snowshoe hare entertaining us in front of the windows in the snow. The Bear Den itself had everything we needed and more, making it feel just like home. We will definitely be back! Communication with Jason and Amanda was easy and they were very welcoming, and thoughtful.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We’ve made UP memories to last a lifetime.

This property had everything you could want on top of a beautiful view of lake superior. Stocked kitchen, plenty of space in the home. We will be back when we are in the area. You cannot go wrong with this property.

Would stay here again!

The Bear Den was all we hoped for and we really enjoyed our visit! The kitchen was well stocked and the home was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable sitting areas and cozy bedrooms. We'd definitely stay here again!
