Waking up to the sound of birds and a view of the majestic eucalyptus tree outside your window is heaven! The Nest is a peaceful place to return to after a day exploring all the Mornington Peninsula has to offer including wineries, restaurants, beaches, galleries and much more. Located in the quiet seaside village of Somers the Nest is a self contained studio apartment on the first floor, which looks out into the treetops of a beautiful native garden. The Nest is simple, comfortable and luxurious where it counts with king-sized bed, beautiful sheets, vintage pieces and premium fittings and fixtures throughout. Also featuring an ensuite bathroom, lounge area, small dining table and a kitchenette with microwave, toaster and bar fridge - the Nest has all you need to make a simple meal or enjoy a cheese platter and some local wine picked up during your day exploring.
There is also a BBQ and small outdoor area to enjoy at ground level. There is a designated parking area in front of your entrance.
Your host lives on the property in a house detached from the studio.

A lot of natural lighting, a very cute interior set up, perfect location, a beautiful beach nearby, and Ruth was a generous host :)

Wonderful location close to HMAS Cerberus for families of sailors, access to all of Mornington Peninsula, food options available nearby. Property was very clean and lovely. The owner was wonderful to deal with and gave plenty of information with plenty of time for our stay.

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the birdlife, the beautiful cozy apartment was charming and had everything we needed and a few things we didn’t know we needed Thanks Ruth for taking such care putting everything together.

Had a great time relaxing in Somers. With easy beach access it made my stay amazing. Loved the studio, and the quality of attention to detail. The small touches made it such a delightful experience. Would highly recommend this place, and I’d come again when I’m in the area

We thought the nest was a fantastic place for us. The room was super comfy and private. And the attention to detail made the stay. It had every thing you need plus some really thoughtful treats. I strongly recommend this accomodation. Thanks

Absolutely great location and extra large studio ideal for couples holiday. Perfectly new quality furnishings and luxurious in every way. Well stocked kitchen with continental breakfast provided. King size bed and very generous host with terrific communications. Great heating, relaxing stay and highly recommend The Nest.Very impressed. Better than described! Thanks for your hospitality Ruth!

We LOVE the Nest!

Beautiful studio. Ruth has thought of everything. Great location and spotlessly clean. 15 out of 10. We will be back. AFully recommend. Very accommodating, friendly host.

Amazing Studio and amazing host

This is a beautiful studio. The attention detail is second to no one. We have stayed at many places not just here in Australia but around the world and I truely enjoyed the stay. The ‘care’ that the host showed us, complete strangers, was amazing. The host has thought of everything.
