We had a great time! Very pleasant and a accommodating people to work with! For us, the only reason not all 5 stars is because it's really dark in the house BUT not so much because not properly lit, but because being a cabin, the walls, ceiling, and floors are 'cabin color' wood. However, you could just think of it as atmosphere.And, this didn't make much difference for us, but know that upstairs could sleep like 12 people, but only one bath upstairs. We were only a total of 5 people, and there is a Master downstairs, plus a 1/2 bath, so bathrooms for us were fine. I'm just mentioning in case you've got a large group going with a bunch of people upstairs, it might be a bit tough.But all in all, if those two comments are meaningless for you.. you'll love it!!!

We loved our stay at this property. Our family spent an extended weekend here. The location is great. Downtown Wimberley is basically on the other side of the river, which runs behind the house. We loved having the river available to us. We used the paddle boards and kayak and our toddler grandson loved to see the fish swimming in the water. Despite the heat, it felt pleasant around the river with all of the shade from the beautiful trees. . We enjoyed the swimming pool, the ping pong table, and the basketball goal. The house is very roomy with a big living area and big bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The house is stocked with plenty of cookware and dishware. The property was clean and well maintained. Would definitely return to this rental for another visit.

The House was fantastic, it was really cool to stay in, and the Log Cabin style was comfortable and beautiful. The backyard was awesome with great access and seating on the banks of Cypress Creek. Hope to book the Mill Race Lodge again.

The house was amazing! Perfect for families looking to have a weekend cabin trip. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the pool as well!

The only downside is we couldn't stay longer. Oh, and there was a burn ban, so we couldn't have a fire in the wonderful fire pit by the creek. Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Highly recommend, and hope to be back again for a longer stay.

The location of the property was convenient for walking into town. The backyard facing the creek provided a nice environment to hang out throughout the day. The interior of the house was clean and cozy. I would recommend this VRBO to friends.

Great place to hang out with family

Gorgeous property in and out, plenty to do all around. From inside the property to outside. Will most definitely have your family entertained. The whole process was smooth very grateful for it as well since it was my 1st time ever getting a vacation rental

We were so impressed. Perfect location. Kids and adults played in the creek and pool. The house was spotless and had everything that we needed and more. The beds were comfortable. We are already planning our next trip. Highly recommend.

Amazing Race Mill Lodge!

Race Mill Lodge is a beautiful property, brimming with character and charm. We had an amazing time and the kids were spoilt for choice for activities. Can’t recommend this place highly enough - we loved it!
