The cottage is so sweet and comfortable, offers loads of extras. Great layout and great views. It was a semi working vacation so the large table accommodated 3 computers, and the internet was super steady. A few things that would have improved the stay, a fan, as when the sun shines there is little air flow and can get a bit too stuffy. A coffee grinder. A step stool, as with most properties they tend to keep the dishes on shelves too high to reach for shorter folks.Sadly, VRBO left message that the neighbors were going to call the police as I was taking photos of their property. This was untrue, and it was unnerving to be left such a message late at night. I was staying alone with my dog. I eventually got resolution and assurance with VRBO. I hope the neighbors don’t impede the owners rent rolling on such a great place to stay.

I will speak with the homeowner about your suggestions to add a fan, a coffee grinder and a step stool. Thank you very much for that feedback. I’m truly sorry the neighbors made a false report to the County Short-Term Rental hotline. Some neighbors get unreasonably grumpy about rental homes and that should not have affected your stay. We are always very quick to respond to the County when such reports are made to invalidate them. Thanks again for the helpful feedback — we’d welcome the opportunity to host you another time.

Things were fine. The view is fantastic. A little crapped with five adults and one little one, but enjoyed our time together.Might be a good idea to have a trap in the kitchen sink to prevent items falling into the garbage disposal. I was worried I would drop a fork or something down into it.
