We are a NM Safe Certified property.
Santa Fe Hobbit House is more than a place to stay: It is a DESTINATION! Gorgeous landscaping, private gardens and a waterfall (Seasonal) make it a veritable retreat atmosphere. Mosaic showers, inlaid wood, Faux walls, honed stone floors throughout the house gives it a 'Live-in Gallery' feel. Gourmet Kitchen, outdoor dining (Seasonal)
Two HD televisions, high speed internet and WiFi. Free TV movies and music.
A quiet but convenient neighborhood, yet close to all the Santa Fe attractions. Nearby restaurants, Clafoutis, Dulce and New Baking Company, Paper Dosa and Maria's New Mexican Kitchen. Trader Joe's, drug store, Body for yoga and massage one block away. The Santa Fe Plaza is a short 1.4 miles away, 0.7 miles to the Railyard Park District and 1.7 miles to Canyon Road.

This is a beautiful home that is even more incredible in person. To stay in this home is more than a stay it is an experience as each moment a new piece of beauty reveals itself. Great location, wonderful hosts, perfect stay for our vacation.

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! Driving up to the house there are beautiful plants and flowers. Upon entering there are curved walls, wood beams and lovely furniture, beautiful arches and painted murals. Everything was exquisite. The bathrooms have marvelous tiles and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Everything is provided. The back yard has a waterfall which brings birds and butterflies. The area is very convenient to all Santa Fe has to offer. Would definitely recommend!

The house is more beautiful and comfortable than the pictures show. What stood out to me was how well appointed the place was. Everything you need for every day life was there, of high quality and working. Highly recommend.

WOW! The Hobbit House is truly a work of art. The beds were comfortable, the water feature was serene, the gardens were spectacular, and the tile work was a masterpiece to behold. It was conveniently located within walking distances to bakeries and Trader Joe’s. Cooling units in each room allowed each guest to customize their sleep environment. Wonderful hosts! Would definitely book this again.

The location is excellent: it's easy to get to the Plaza, and you have quick access to the main roads for day trips beyond the city.The house itself is full of guide books that inspire all kinds of adventures, whether you're looking for hiking trails, local history, or hidden gems. The artwork throughout the home and the beautifully landscaped grounds create a peaceful atmosphere that genuinely feeds the soul.The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and the grill works perfectly for cooking outside. If you're looking for a place that feels both inspiring and comfortable, The Hobbit House is a wonderful choice.

I have never seen such attention to detail. The property is indeed a mosaic work of art.But, additionally the owners keep it immaculate and so very well stocked. We had a most pleasant and enjoyable week. The location is perfect. We highly recommend this property. It’s worth every penny!

Great house - so cute but we were not allowed to use the TV? This was weird, but we ended up finding a way to make do for our group, who came here for rest, relaxation and to learn together.

All of our guests are more than welcome to use the two televisions for viewing their favorite shows and streaming movies but not for plugging your devices into them as it inevitably unprograms the TV system resulting in a TV technician bill. Our TV/remote instructions mentions this. Inquiring about your intentions on how you were planning to use the TV for remote education before booking would have been prudent and the inconvenience could have been avoided. We strive to accommodate our guests needs when they stay at our house as it is very important to us that they have an enjoyable stay.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And that includes the outside patio area with the waterfall feature. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings relaxing after very busy days. Be sure to read the tips, esp. for info on air/heating to understand how to set the temps you want. We also appreciated the info and brochures on nearby sites, restaurants and activities. If we plan anymore trips to Sante Fe we will definitely plan to stay here again.

From the moment we walked in the door the Hobbit House was the perfect stay. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bathrooms were outstanding and the beds were comfortable. Everything worked as described. We had the best time and will book again when we come back to Santa Fe.

My wife and I have lived in Santa Fe for the last 40 years and for the last 10, we have wanted to play 'host.' We bought a house in a key location, and for 5 years, I 'dolled it up' with an attempt to make it a 'live-in art gallery.' It was so fun, I now am doing more of this kind of work. Sheila came in with her green thumb, and designed and planted the landscaping, plus, she oversaw all the interior decoration and furnishings. Now we work together to get it ready for guests. We enjoy sharing the house with our guests.
