Beautiful Northwoods Cabin on Long Lake - The Baier's Den

This log sided cabin has been completely remodeled with hardwood floors, granite counters, tile master shower, and many more upgrades.

Enjoy the sandy frontage for swimming, landscaped fire pit by the lake, the many bars and restaurants on Long Lake, great fishing, golfing, ATV/snowmobile trails and so much more! ATV routes nearby and snowmobiles can drive right down to the lake and head out from there!

New stainless appliances have been installed, including a dishwasher. Amish wood furniture in the bedrooms and leather couches in the living room. There are two bedrooms upstairs both with queen beds, and two bedrooms downstairs, one queen bed and a "bunk room" with 3 twin over twin sets of bunk beds. The cabin was remodeled in 2017 with families in mind.

This cabin has plenty of room for a large family or a couple families with a bunk room for the kids. Please take outside shoes off at the door. Cabin has central heat and air conditioning. Dock space for two large boats is available.

Perfect getaway

Spent a week with family enjoying the home, lake and just being “up north”. House was clean, well kept and in a nice quiet location.

Best Ever

You can certainly tell the owners listen to their customers. They added more chairs on the deck, new chairs by the fire pit, a dart board, gas grill, and more!! I would highly recommend this cabin. We will be returning again hopefully! The owners are honest and you can tell they care. They check in with you after buoy check in and respond quickly with any concerns. Thank you for an awesome week of memories with my family. We have been doing this every summer for over 20 years! Thanks!

Family Vacation

Fantastic Vacation Getaway

We had an amazing second visit to this wonderful house on Long Lake. The house is perfect for a family vacation. The two living rooms were especially nice! Kids had a place to go and so did the adults. During our stay, there was a pretty bad storm and we lost power. I contacted Sue about flashlights and she got back to me immediately. She even did a follow up text to make sure we were ok after the power was back on. It was an overall great experience and we plan on coming back a third time!

Perfect Lake Getaway!

We had an amazing family holiday at the Baier’s Den! The house was beautiful and had everything we needed inside and out. The owners were easy to reach and always helpful. Great lake location with stunning sunsets. I would give it more than five stars if I could!

Wonderful Trip!

Our family of 5 has stayed at this home twice. Not only is the location wonderful, the owners are fabulous and the home is beautiful. Everything was clean and ready for use. The owners communicated instantly, and even sent well wishes for a great time once we got there. We did travel to Hayward for the Lumberjack show and mini golf. Fishing was wonderful- caught some night large and small mouth bass right off the dock! We brought our own boat, so docking was easy- especially with a sandy beach area. Highly recommend this home- It's one of our favorites on the lake!

Family week

Perfect! Immaculate. Had everything we needed for a fabulous family vacation. We rented a pontoon from Long Lake bait and tackle- fishing was great! The cabin was beautiful- stocked with absolutely everything we needed. If I were to suggest anything - although certainly not necessary, it would be a hammock and kayak (s).

Beautiful area and lake. The owners super easy to work with! I love meeting who we are renting from.

Easy! We were referred by a previous owner who also rented on VRBO. Our family loves the area. The lake is beautiful. Two things to improve on are, take away a picnic table on the deck and have more furniture to sit on. We spend a lot of time on the deck. Also, maybe think about a gas grill. No real complaints. The owners were great to work with and care about their property, it’s very obvious. See you next year!

Summer Vacation with the Family

Property was perfect for our kids and grandkids. The lake home was perfectly setup with excellent living, kitchen, and eating area, nice bedrooms and bathrooms, and plenty of space for our 3 families. The lake setting was excellent with great dock, sandy swimming area, and clean water and also included a great fire pit area with plenty of seating. We even had great weather. Will definitely stay again!

Perfect week up north!

The Bear’s Den could not have been nicer. The beds were very comfortable as was all the furniture and the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed. We had great communication with the owners. Premier property to rent. We will be back!!!

Perfect getaway

The house is great for a large family. We had 5 adults and plenty of room…. The bunk room was great for all the kids. The house is clean and had everything we needed. Most beautiful sunsets on the lake is right off the deck… Thanks for the use of a beautiful place

Utopia

The entire home was immaculate. Great location on Long Lake. By far the best place I've rented on the lake. Easy lake access - no stairs! Quiet and lovely. Nothing but salt and pepper in the kitchen so bring your own everything else, which I did anyway. We loved spending a week here. Great sunsets! We rented a pontoon boat and visited many places we remembered from our years at the lake. A most worthwhile rental. Just gorgeous.

We had a great time. Our only suggesstions would be to inform your guests in advance where the nearest food shoppiong would be, gas stations etc.... maybe make some suggesstions for local restaurants.. We had to purchase our own ice as the ice maker was not working. We were a bit disappointed that we could not use the fireplace as the remote was missing.

Awesome Vacation

This home has everything. So clean. Kitchen had everything. We had our kids and grandkids with us. Perfect for all ages. Lots of room for our vehicles and trailers. The sandy beach and dock were perfect. We already booked for next year.
