Beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom/2 bath condominium The condo is situated overlooking the 13th hole on Bald Head Island golf course. The master bedroom has a king size bed with private bathroom, and the guest bedroom has two twin beds with a full size bathroom located in hall off from the second bedroom.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with stainless appliances, granite countertops and custom furnishings to accommodate your every need.
Enjoy the evening with the family in the spacious living room watching tv or open the sliding glass door to enjoy an evening breeze on one of the balconies.

THE Condo comes Equipped with everything you need to enjoy the island!

* Golf cart (4 passenger) comes with the accommodations
* Beach chairs, beach umbrellas and children’s boogie boards and sand toys
* Bikes - 4 adult bikes and 2 children bikes
* Pool - Royal James community Pool

Royal James also has a *community pool, which is conveniently located right across from the condo unit. The pool area has a neighborhood charcoal grill and picnic area. The condo is centrally located on the island and is less than a 5 minute *golf cart ride to the beach, the Bald Head Island marina, restaurants and access to many outdoor activities.

The Bald Head Island Club with golf is available at an additional charge through the BHI Club. www.bhiclub.net. Please review the 2022 Guest Member rules and and cost.

Beautiful Condo!

The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated. Everything was provided (as stated in the description) as far as kitchen supplies, towels, etc. It is conveniently located near the market and shops if needed. However, the island isn’t that big so with the provided golf cart and/or bikes, you can get to most places rather quickly. The beach is only a 5 minute golf cart ride. It was the perfect location and size for our family of four!

Wonderful wedding weekend

Place was great! Had a wonderful time. Close enough to bald head island club as we had to travel there for wedding activities. Host was extremely responsive and lovely to work with. Would like to come back again.

Storm of a century

What started out as a relaxing, restorative long weekend with my mother who was preparing herself for an upcoming chemo treatment ended up being a crazy potential tropical cyclone encounter. We were so enjoying the beautiful home filled with thoughtful touches that we apparently didn’t keep up with the weather conditions. Well, thank God for DeAnne who literally saved the day with an extended stay and a boat ride connection to the mainland due to the ferry suspending service. What an amazing host and someone I now consider a true friend. You will not be disappointed with this lovely home and amazing island.

Sweet, clean, comfortable

Great location, central to everything. Next to a wildlife lookout area, easy to access. Well equipped kitchen. Owner provided a great selection of soaps/shampoo/conditioner which was a nice plus.

Great Stay at Royal James Landing!

We so enjoyed our stay here on BHI! This place had everything we needed for an awesome beach vacation. The location is close to many restaurants, the market, and other shops on the island. We enjoyed using the reliable and ready-to-go golf cart to go to the beach and the BHI club. The other residents were friendly throughout our stay.

Perfect stay on BHI for a smaller family

The condo is perfect for a family with 2 kids. It was super clean and modern with lots of nice touches like laundry soap, dishwasher soap, and beach towels and a beach cooler. The host is very quick to respond. Recommend you book the BHI ferry and tram weeks early it fills up fast. Beach easy 5 minute cart ride and they were never crowded.

Perfect for our small family

The place is clean and nice. Access to the pool is great for our kids (ages 4 and 8). We have stayed there the past three years and it continues to be a great place to visit BHI.

Paradise on Earth

Such a beautiful place to have called home for 5 nights. The building does not look like much from the outside but inside is incredible. So tastefully decorated and comfortable. Perfectly clean and when the owner says, “Just bring your clothes,” she means it. All bathroom products, coffee, spices for cooking, beach towels, chairs, bikes, golf cart…What a relief to not have to provide those items when arriving by plane. The bed and linens were wonderful as was the little leg shaving shelf in the master ensuite! Obviously a woman’s touch. The kitchen is very well equipped but a pizza pan may be a good addition. We never did figure out the fancy toaster but thankfully there was a standard one available. We also loved the ice machine and will be ordering one for our cabin as soon as we get home! We thoroughly enjoyed bombing around the island on the golf cart and trying a new beach every day. It was great to come back to the quiet complex to enjoy a cool down in the pool at the end of the day. Most times, we had the pool all to ourselves. We did have need to see a dr while on the island and was able to get in to see Nurse Practitioner Lou within an hour of calling. Not only was she able to provide some medications on site, but was also able to order from Southport who delivered them right to our side of the ferry. Thank you for hosting us and sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Perfect getaway, well-stocked house, great location

We loved staying at Royal James Landing. The home was clean, comfortable, and had lots of amenities. We loved riding the bikes around the island. We enjoyed eating at the local restaurants and loved traveling by golf cart! Lots of fun for these first timers at BHI!

Bald Head Island Hidden Treasure

My spouse and I stayed at this unit in May 2024. The reservation process went very smoothly, as did the check in and check out process. No surprise “house rules” or hidden fees, everything was spelled out clearly from the start. The unit is tucked away in the interior of the island, but has a pool steps away. The golf cart (included with the rental) made it easy to explore the island and go to any of the many public beach access points. The unit was very clean and well equipped. The beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed watching the big TV with access to Netflix, Prime Video, and other streaming entertainment. Compared with the rental prices for other island rentals this place is a steal.

Dream escape

Wonderful spot to stay on the most wonderful island. The place was comfortable and well stocked with all needs, we loved it. Great communication with host, look forward to another stay sometime soon!

Great Stay At BHI

Enjoyed our stay here for a wedding. Great location and very clean! We enjoyed being able to use the guest membership at the BHIC. DeAnne is a great host and went out of her way to make our stay at the property smoother. We greatly appreciated it and hope to return again sometime!

Better than expected

The host was amazingly responsive and helpful providing tons of information about the island long before our arrival. The condo was very clean and beautifully remodeled. Even though the building looks old from the outside, it feels new inside. There were many little things inside the condo left for the guests that made it feel like home such as k cups, laundry detergent, and even cute notes and instructions for using any and all electronics. The golf cart was perfect for getting around and the bikes made for a nice scenic ride around the island. We didn’t use the beach gear cause it was a bit cold, but the chairs and umbrellas looked to be in great condition. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, quiet place to stay.

The condo was very clean, bright and relaxing. We had one hiccup, which the property manager was quick to respond and correct as best as she could at the time of day. Overall, a really nice place to stay.

I moved to this beautiful Island in March of 2020. I lived in Charleston South Carolina and came to visit Bald Head in November of 2019 and from the first time I arrived here I never wanted to leave.

You will love the completely remodeled condo , the kitchen has state of the art appliances and the space has designer touches throughout. The back deck comes off the living room and master bedroom suite and over looks the 9th hole. It is conveniently located across from the pool area.
