3 Bedroom Beach House - Private gated community near the beach

If you are looking for a great place to vacation at the beach, our spacious 3 bedroom 2 bath home is centrally located in a gated community providing 24 hour security, private beach parking, and 2 pools. Rinse off, cool down or take a refreshing shower in our newly installed outdoor shower. In addition to the three bedrooms, there are two sleeper sofas, one in the living room and one in the sunroom. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, four TV's and a DVD player. A golf cart and linens are also included with your rental.

There are many activities for the entire family, enjoy the water park located within 1/4 mile on Business 17. Golfers, choose from the many tournament courses located though-out Myrtle Beach, or have fun with the family playing miniature golf. Oceanside Village's own Tupelo Bay, a full executive 18 hole course, lighted par 3 and driving range, or 18 hole miniature golf course with ice cream parlor are located across the street on Business 17. For the avid fishermen, the Surfside Pier is located one mile north and the Garden City Pier is located one mile south of our home.

Minutes from Murrell's Inlet, you can enjoy the wonderful selection of restaurants. There is also great shopping at Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing and many other outlets in the surrounding area.

There is an ADT security camera located in the corner of the house and the shed. It is pointed to a view the driveway and the range extends to the end of the driveway. There is no audio with this ADT security camera.

Family Beach Vacation

Our host graciously let us shift our days last minute due to Tropical Storm Debby hitting the Myrtle Beach area. That was much appreciated so our entire trip wasn’t rainy and we were able to get a couple sunny days at the end. We had a small ant issue around the kitchen sink, nothing to major though. I did let her know that the cost for the key card had gone up to $30 at the first of the year not the $20 stated in the Rental Agreement Our Host was always very quick with communication and responses throughout our reservation and check-in process. Watch out for the glass hood above the stove island though! I caught my head on it a number of times, you think I’d remember it was there after the first time! The closeness to the beach was great and having the golf cart to get back and forth made it even better. The option of the outdoor shower for a quick rinse of was great too especially with a larger group!

Such a perfect place roomy and convenient to everything! Very good owners willing to accommodate all of our needs. How to wash machine break down one day and a new one installed the next! Easy to communicate with owners. Definitely will stay again!

Beautiful place. Close to the beach with a golf cart to take there. Theres and indoor and outdoor pool in the community if you dont want to do the beach. Everyone was friendly and the house was well equipped.

The house was just right for myself and my family to have fun while we were there for a baseball tournament. We had fun at the pool and we went to the beach.

Great Vacation

The unit was clean and well stocked with everything you would need for an extended stay. There are several ways into the community which is nice. The beach is just a short golf cart ride away and the private parking is awesome. We wouldnt hesitate to book again.

Great Location

Location was great and golf cart with the house was key. We misunderstood the importance of the gate card in addition to the entrance placard. If your going to the beach you must get the gate card to get in and out of neighborhood and you must have cash to get the card. Owner was very responsive with questions or problems. The house was great but could use additional cleaning.

1st time staying at a VRBO.

Louanne is very nice and extremely helpful. She answered my questions and helped us find the property, when we got turned around. We did have an incident on Friday, when the water repair crew came to fix a problem outside. We were without water for most of the day until approximately 5:00 PM. The property was a little more out dated, then it appeared in the ad, but for our family it was fine. PWe enjoyed having a very nice kitchen that we could cook supper in. It was very up to date. The house was very spacious, but the 3rd bedroom is actually a small room with a daybed and no TV. I would suggest getting socket safety plugs for when you do have families with little ones. The house was close to the beach, a golf cart easily gets you there. Very close to the pools, which is very nice. All in all it was a pleasant stay and I would highly recommend her house.

Awesome vacation

Location was perfect. Close to the pools, playgrounds etc. the golf cart was a big bonus as it was a drive to the beach. Missed several days of not having a card pass., but once I called the owner she told us what to do. It opened up a big time saver that we were missing but never staying here before we did not know how things worked. We figured it out eventually lol. Overall it was a great time and would definitely come back to Ocren Village!

Home away from home

We just got back from our week stay at Louannes home… after giving her a mild heart attack bc we couldn’t find the linen or golf cart ( we were at the wrong house 🤦‍♀️) she was amazing to work with, the house was perfect. Very roomy, clean, had all the amenities we needed, and was a perfect location!!! We will definitely rent again!!!!

Great bike week experience

Great bike week experience. The property was in a quiet location for night time relaxing. Within walking distance of the swimming pool and hot tub. The golf cart was there in case you wanted to ride to the coast and to Surfside restaurants. Louanne was great to deal with and was very responsive. I will be back to stay there again

Paradise!!!

So much room! Island stove separate from island eating bar. The air went out on Labor Day and at 9:30 - the owners had a repair man on the scene, the problem was resolved while we sat around in a cool breeze under carport! Over flow parking available and used, neighbor sat with us several nights - five stars is an understatement! Golf cart made morning and evening trips just looking around awesome. We rode bikes with a two year old and six yr old safely and comfortably! We went fishing and caught fish. Indoor heated pool on a day when it rained, a playground for a king, splash pad, hot tub, pool - all used! Restaurants and shopping very close by! I’m usually ready to go after seven days - but not this time! A time that I hope to repeat in the spring/summer! A review will never describe how great this place and community is! But I can say you won’t regret staying here - until you realize you have to leave and go back to “the world”! Thank y’all so much for everything! Will be back!

VRBO NIGHTMARE!!!

First off, I’m giving FAIR WARNING to anyone considering renting this home from Louanne. We left in the middle of the night because we were so disturbed by her actions. There is a NON-DISCLOSED CAMERA recording your every move and conversation!!! I’ve contacted VRBO for some resolution to this horrifying invasion of privacy. When I found the camera I hung a hat on it and immediately got a threatening text message to “remove the hat now”. She contacted a neighbor who came over there within minutes to remove my hat!! Not only was my privacy at risk but a STRANGER snuck in there while we were eating supper. Shortly after the hat being on the security camera issue she sent another text message demanding I “put her WiFi back online”. SHE CALLED THE COPS OVER THE WIFI BEING OUT AND TRIED TO BLAME ME. Of course the cops found nothing wrong and went on about their night. To make matters worse, this house is HOT. 81 degrees EVERY DAY inside the home. Louanne was very quick to respond until you actually needed her. I had to call multiple times before she reluctantly agreed to get an AC service call. We spent 2 separate days, waiting for a 3 hour window. Eventually Louanne admitted that the unit was undersized and 81 degrees was “normal”. Granted it was only 85-88 outside. The house only cooled to 77 at night which made for miserable sleeping. This home is also INFESTED with roaches. I’m from South Carolina and know all about palmetto bugs. I’ve never seen this bad of an issue though. In a couple days, we killed 17 roaches. They were crawling on the walls, ceilings, floors and even in the sleeper sofa. As others have said, you will be the maid because Louanne is too cheap to pay for a proper cleaning service. You are required to wash and dry all the sheets and towels before you leave at 10am! This is impossible due to the worn out washer and dryer. The speed cycle on the washer doesn’t work and the dryer has to go through two 1 hour cycles to get the towels dry enough. You are relying on the people before you to have done a proper cleaning and hope everything is sanitary. This was very concerning considering the spread of viruses lately.

Highly recommend!

Very spacious home for a family vacation! Located in an awesome gated community with lots of amenities and just around the corner from the pool. The golf cart included was also a big plus for getting around & just a super quick ride to the beach!
