Beautiful Townhome near KU and downtown

This townhome was renovated on July 2020, it’s located near KU campus and just a few blocks from Downtown Lawrence. You can walk to The Merc, Burrito King, some restaurants on Massachusetts. It has a full kitchen with new appliances including a new microwave that vents out. All the furnitures are new. This townhome is a two stories home and has a garage/laundry. There is bike for guests who like to ride during their stay in Lawrence.

Smoking, big gathering groups and parties are not allowed. And guests always take care of this home so we ask to you to do as well.

In the back, there is a nice deck with some chairs and table for those who like coffee in the mornings. This 1200 ft² approximately welcomes many people and we look forward to keep the property in good standard-Rock Chalk Jayhawks!!

Was in town for college move in weekend at KU. Positives: Communication was prompt. Check in was a breeze. House was clean and as expected, quiet neighborhood. Easy to get around despite the road construction. Negatives: No hot tub as noted in amenities, (would have been nice to relax after moving all day) we had to search for extra towels - found them in the dryer. Lots of dishes left in the dishwasher that needed put away. Over all a decent stay. Would still book again.

Perfect location & Awesome Host

We enjoyed our stay. I loved having a vanity with a sink in the bedroom, it was very convenient for the 4 of us to get ready. Perfect location to get to Mass St and Hoglund Ballpark. Host was very responsive and he did let us check in a little early since we arrived sooner than expected. Will stay here next time in town.

Perfect spot for daughters Tour of KU

Great location, plenty of room and extremely helpful host. Perfect spot for what we needed and will be using again in the future.

Convenient location - comfortable accommodations

We enjoyed our 7-day stay at this property. It was very comfortable for two people and nicely equipped. The location was great - walking distance to downtown and to campus. We would stay here again!

Perfect!

Lovely place tucked away on a side street. Quiet and beautifully decorated, a perfect place to come back to at the end of the day. We were minutes away from downtown, coffee, and a grocery store. Ray was so easy to work with, we will definitely stay here the next time we visit Lawrence!

Graduation Weekend

Stayed for graduation weekend. We as perfect location and size. Very happy with the size, cleanliness and ease of transaction. Communication with the owner was available if necessary. Would stay again.

Convenient, clean, pretty place

A great stopover on our way down i-70. Nicely equipped and very pretty. Also very clean, with cute holiday lights decorating the front of the building. Good long garage to fit an SUV with a small back hitch. Highly recommend.

Wonderfully Clean and Comfortable

Great condo close to campus. Ultra clean condition with new furnishings. Comfortable Tempurpedic-type firm mattresses. Would stay here again. Note that it is on 3 levels: grarage on first floor, kitchen and living room on 2nd and 2 bedrooms on 3rd.

Nice place. Very clean. Convenient location for visiting our Jayhawk. Some miscommunication about number of beds listed (which was disappointing) but the owner cleared it up.

Just right for a KU visit

Everything as described, just right for an extended stay as we visited KU. Nice to have the extra space and 1/2 bath!! While located along the same road as apartments and can get a bit of traffic noise, this townhome’s location is about as close to the school as you can get. Priced right for what’s offered! Ty - we will be back!

Very comfortable

It was perfect for my friends and family while we attended KU orientation for our kids. Easy access to everything in Lawrence. The owner made us aware he was readily available but we had no problems. The property is just as he describes. We plan on staying there for other visits during the next four years!😉

Owner attempted to rush me out before check out time

Owner attempted to rush me out before check out time because his cleaning service arrived way too early. I left the premise at the agreed checkout time. Felt like I was harassed because some cleaning service arrived too early and they apparently didn't want to wait for me to vacate the premise at the agreed checkout time. Very obnoxious!

Short stay for Daughter's dissertation at KU

Overall, our stay was nice to accommodate 4 adults. The bedrooms: it was nice to have two separate bedrooms. The upstairs bathroom: was ok to share. More towels are needed – at least two bath towels per adult. We contacted our host and he told us where to find additional towels. Important note: there was no bath mat for the tub and it was quite slippery when showering – I’d be concerned about your liability here so please get a check plastic bath mat that adheres to the tub so no one gets injured. We have a few close calls. We laid down a wash cloth to stand on which helped but not ideal. The air conditioning: worked well and was a welcome relief as KS was in the 90’s and quite humid when we were there. Thank you! However, at night it got quite warm and stuffy upstairs, making it difficult to sleep. The kitchen: adequate. We cleaned most of our dishes by hand and thank you for providing liquid soap. Suggest to provide more dish towels (there was only one). Other: some of the outlets need to be tightened to hold a charger. It was great to have so many but a few did not work adequately. Overall, a nice experience. Thank you. We hope we left the place in good shape for you - we certainly tried.
