Great place for a getaway

The facilities were absolutely great. Better than anything else I found in the area for the money. We enjoyed the swimming hole. The kitchenette let us make some of our meals right there and they do have WiFi that enable me to stay in touch with the out side.

Perfect!

If you’re looking for simple and a quiet place to stay this is the spot! Host is excellent! Location is right across from the ATV trails! The house is simple and not over the top. It has what you need and nothing more. Which is what we wanted!!! Simple and low cost! A great stay!

Campground

We loved our stay and the surrounding area. The property manager Michael was attentive and helpful with our requests. It's a beautiful place for a family or a couple to relax and enjoy nature. The cell phone signal is weak in that area, but we didn't mind any technology time. Just download your map ahead of time. There are plenty of things to do outdoors, especially if you bring or rent ATVs. Overall we would definitely will come back another time.

We saw your little one enjoying the playground equipment while our volunteers were there for WorkDay. We invite your friends to come to enjoy Wolf Pen Gap sometime and stay at the kitchenette or bring their RV and rent a spot. Thank you for your review! Ronda

Long weekend in the mountains

We loved coming back here as it is a quiet & perfect setting & location for what we came up here for.Had everything we needed & more for a camping weekend lol🤣 “roughing it” our style! Al was great as always; thanks Al. But this time was even special; we made a new friend, we had Smoke! The three legged rescued dog. We love Smoke who came by every morning to greet us at the front door & stayed with us when we were around until late into the night by the camp fire….. and of coz he loved his treats too! Lol🤣 He was our unofficial guard dog! 😂 Also this time around we got to make a bonfire as the restriction was lifted. Perfect!!! We loved that we were able to have a bonfire near our cabin. Also with the rain that we got when we were there we were thrilled to finally see the little creek on the property is now a fast flowing stream! Absolutely perfect! 👍😁 oh and atving on the many trails were just as exciting & thriling…. We saw some deers too & all the gorgeous colors changing in the trees. Awesome sauce!😁👍 Thanks everyone. We so thoroughly enjoyed our stay & missed Smoke already. See you soon Smoke, & Al, God Willing of course. Best Regards, Sophia & Scott

Long weekend in the mountains

Awesome spot for a quick getaway. Quiet & safe & close to ATV trails for some outdoor adventure. Been here numerous times & won’t be our last. Our cabin is simple & ample enough for our needs. Al & Smoke are there if we need them & they are the best!

Nice facility

The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and stocked with essentials. The Al was friendly and acomodating. The bathroom was standard issue for a young people at summer camp. I would stay there again.
