Cozy Cottage at Lake George Campsites!

The recreation destination you’ve been looking for is here in beautiful Lake George, NY! Centrally located in a serene wooded setting, Lake George Campsites is your gateway to the Adirondack Mountains. Our family-friendly environment boasts walkability to major Lake George attractions like Six Flags Great Escape and is minutes from the Lake George Outlets and Lake George Village.

Campground amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, recreation room, playground, and plenty of outdoor sports. We also have an onsite laundry facility and a fully stocked store to pick up some of those last-minute essentials. Whether you’re looking to relax and enjoy our onsite amenities or for the perfect home base to take advantage of all the Lake George region has to offer, you’ve found the right place!

Our Algonguin model vacation cottages are 450 square feet and have 2 bedrooms, a loft area for sleeping, a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, 1.5 baths, an indoor gas fireplace, and a screened porch. Other modern conveniences include central air/heat, flat-screen TVs, cable, and Wi-Fi.

Linens are not provided but are available for a fee. You are welcome to bring your own.

A security deposit of $200.00 is due upon arrival. This is refundable upon checkout.

Note: Photos are of the Algonquin cottage type, not the exact cottage number. Some furnishings and decor may differ, but basic floor plans are the same.

Cabins had no fire pit or grills. One of the 2 cabins had no paper supplies. After contacting the host to inquire about firepits found we were given false information. The staff on site were overwhelming and not focused. Cabin 3 had no hot water at the kitchen he sink . Cabin 4 shower water needed to be on the cold position for hot water.

Easy Peasy

Both the campground and cabin were nice and tidy, the staff was pleasant and it was a quick walk to the great escape, mini golf and some fun food stops!

Better than expected

Cottage was perfect for our family of 5. It was clean an looked newly updated. Great campground. Close to many fun local activities and a short drive to Canada Street and Lake George.

Great find!

We couldn’t have asked for a better space to stay. I was traveling with my mother and 18 year old son and we all had our own space. The cottage was clean and the AC was perfect during the heat wave. Everything was so clean and the cottage had everything we needed for the weekend. Location was great as well. Highly recommend!

Weekend stay

The cabin was very clean and new. Both the air conditioning and the screened porch were nice additions. However, the bunk bedroom and the loft were not really suitable for adults. The pictures did not accurately portray how small the rooms were. Adults cannot even sit up in the loft and the bunk beds were too short for anyone over 5’5”. This cabin should be advertised as suitable for a family with children, but not as actually sleeping 6 adults. In addition, although sheets and towels were provided for a fee, blankets were not available.

We appreciate the feedback Cynthia! We have since updated our website with new photos and floorplans that we feel accurately display the cottages. We've also changed our description to say that the lofts and bunk beds are best for children. We hope you'll return for another stay!

Camp ground cottage

This cottage was the perfect size for my family of 6. It was just outside of Lake George, but close to whatever we wanted to do during our visit. It was very clean. Had a picnic table and fire pit and small but full service kitchen. Nice option instead of tenting or renting a hotel

Cute Place great location

This cottage was perfect for what we needed. We had family in several of the cottages and in RV’s. It was a great way for us to all be together and book our stays for each families desires time frame. It is not rustic, it’s close to the highway, sites in the back of camp have a lot of road noise, but again for us and what we needed it was perfect! Walk to Great Escape, Martha’s Ice Cream and other places too. Super close to downtown Lake George and the fort, Minnie Ha Ha.. all in all we would stay again..

Relaxing and Fun

Very quiet place to stay. Great options such as a mini arcade room and a pool. The pool is kept clean and great to just unwind after a busy day running around lake george. The location is perfect. Very close to all the major areas and sites. It is always sunk away from the street to keep privacy, peace, and quiet during all hours of the day and night. I will be returning when I visit Lake George again.
