Our amazing place is the largest available in the area, with the most beautiful nature surrounding! Located across from 360,000 acres of nature preserve, and adjacent to BLM lake/land, this is the ultimate remote desert escape! The housing decor is a blend of mid century modern with a southwestern flare. The sprawling 4,200 square foot, single level home is fresh, clean, welcoming and peaceful! There are 4 beds, 2 King and 2 queen. Varying firmness/plush levels to accommodate preferences. There is a fabulous propane fireplace and relaxing patio! Deer will walk right up to the patio- which boasts a grill and oversized section to relax and enjoy the sunset. It is perfect for people who not only love nature and embrace privacy, but enjoy a beautiful home and relaxing in a jetted tub at the end of the day! The house is on the bluffs offering an unbeatable view of the beautiful distant shoreline, mountains, and open desert sky. The area is exceptionally quiet, offering the most beautiful sunsets you'll ever experience. This enchanting escape is perfect for couples, groups, and families! We include a lake pass which allows you access to not only swimming, but boat rentals and jet ski rentals! Or you can head into town and enjoy the hot springs! You’ll feel as though your in an amazing desert hideaway- but only a short drive to town! There is parking both within the two car garage, and RV/boat parking!

Spacious and comfortable

This house was exactly what we needed for our "girls weekend"! Great layout, with lots of space so we didn't feel we were on top of each other! Comfortable and beautiful furnishings. We are looking forward to planning another retreat here :)

Amazing Home!

Wonderful house for our group!! Everything you could possibly need and more. Great beds and linens, lots of areas to gather and chat, play ping pong or dominos! We cooked every night. Love it. Everyone in our group were in awe of the home. So fun.

Cool Place

Rented this place for my son's birthday, it was awesome. The views are amazing, it's quiet and very nice! Barbie was very cool and easy to deal with. I liked that the place was well stocked with appliances and utensils, since I forgot the box on the counter I was supposed to bring with all carefully chosen utensils that were laid out for me to bring so having all the stuff at rental saved my bacon.

House was beautiful view was even better beds were vary comfortable we had a great time there the host was amazing anything we needed she was there and responded really fast this is a great place to take ur family too if your looking to go hang at the lake for the day but wanna go back to a nice fresh house it’s big and can fit so much. Thank you to Barbie the host for a great weekend.

Perfect

This property is amazing, so much room and so many options for things to do. Elephant Butte is 15 minutes away with all kinds of water craft to rent, quite reasonable, great fishing, and great service. To see wildlife just be on the beautiful deck in the morning or go for a walk. Also so many great trails to walk. Also a very nice golf course close by. The home itself has anything you could possibly need, the master suite is breathtaking as is the view from there. Directions were excellent, and Barbie was a dream to work with, we could not have been happier with our stay, hope to be able to spend more time here in the spring.

My stay

It was such a beautiful house and had a good stay. The only complaint I have is there were so many moths and bugs and they should have bug spray or a moth killer

Beyonca, We live in the desert therefore there are wildlife/insects outdoors. We have our house sprayed regularly to ensure there are no insects indoors- however if people leave doors open moths etc will fly in. Your groups behavior as guests was shocking- and we can only hope you’ll be more responsible/considerate should you rent through vrbo again.
