Our 'Cozy Cottage' is the quintessential UP knotty pine cottage. Quaint and cozy and right on the east shore of Big Manistique Lake, it's the perfect place to enjoy all that Michigan's 4 seasons have to offer. Cozy Cottage is centrally located in the eastern UP so many of the favorite attractions are within an hours drive.

If you're just looking for a place to relax and enjoy the lake, Cozy Cottage has a lakefront deck with ample seating, an outdoor table for dining, and a gas BBQ. There is a fire pit just feet from the shoreline for spectacular sunset views, and there is a stone fireplace inside.

Cozy Cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen that includes a coffee pot, toaster, crock pot, air fryer and Ninja blender. We have a Reverse Osmosis drinking water system so you don't need to buy bottled water. Full dinnerware is supplied. The spacious dining room seats 6. All bed linens and bath towels are provided as well as all paper products. You will need to bring your own beach towels. We have the Highline Fiberoptics so you’ll have excellent TV viewing in the living room and both bedrooms, and great WIFI for your phones.

We have a dock if you're bringing a boat and we are only 500 feet away from a public launch. Our lot is private to the road and there is space to park your trailers behind the garage. We have 3 kayaks available for guest use and we provide the lifejackets.

If you're visiting in the winter, there is a lean to off the garage for your snow machines.
