Torch Lake Sandbar Directly Across The Street With Outdoor Dock Slip Unit B

Recently remodeled! This quaint two bedroom one bath duplex style home is located on the beautiful Torch River Bayou. It is across the street from the Torch Lake Sandbar. With the pullout couch this apartment sleeps six people. If you are a larger group we recommend renting out both units. Two cars are allowed per unit. Trailer parking is available offsite.

This is a weekly rental from mid June-August that rents from Friday to Friday. Outside of these months shorter rentals are allowed. Due to the way 4th of July falls for 2025, June 26th - July 3rd will be a 6 day rental and July 3rd-11th will be an 8 day rental.

We recommend taking your boat to enjoy the gorgeous Torch water. We do have a rental pontoon and tritoon on the property so feel free to inquire about rates and dates for that also!

Please note that this unit includes the outdoor dock slip. If you are looking for the unit with the indoor boat house slip please book Unit A found under property # 2062886

We do not allow pets, smoking, fireworks, or outdoor fire-pits. Please note there are outdoor surveillance cameras for your added security.

The rentals are in walking distance of ice cream, pizza, a restaurant, and liquor store. The rentals are 5 minutes drive from Alden, 15 minutes away from Elk Rapids, and 35 minute away from Traverse City. This area has attractions for everyone. Wine tasting, breweries, golfing, hiking, shopping, paddle boarding, jet skiing, and boating are just a few attractions.

Property owners and boat slip renters do access the boat house. The upper deck on top of the rentals are included however the rooftop on top of the boat house is not included in the rental.

Wonderful stay!

The space is efficient, well located and nicely decorated. My teens loved the deck for hanging out at night around the gas fire table. Great stay.

20th Anniversary get away.

This property will not disappoint! Centrally located near several small towns to explore as well as the beautiful lake and areas to hike! Our only downfall was the weather at the time of our stay, but we made the best of it!

Love love love this lake!

Looked forward to our revisit of Torch Lake from spending many summers here with my mom and dad as a kid. The upper deck on Crystal Beach condo was absolutely a joy to stay at! Very pretty and so cutely decorated. Meagan, Ryan and Joy were wonderful as hosts and had amazing hospitality for us all week! We loved easy access to the boathouse and traveling down the bayou to Torch River out to the lake each day- such pretty colors of blue! Sandbar is as amazing as always. We will rent again for sure <3

Torch Lake Vacay

We had an amazing time. The property was just as described and decorated so cute. We had easy access to Torch lake and the river. We rented the pontoon from the owners for 2 days, Our trip was cut short one of the days due to the wind and the property owner refunded us some money. It was totally out of their control and we understand that they did no have to do that. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend - don't hesitate on this property.

I almost don't want anyone else to know how amazing this place and its owners are, just so we can come back whenever we want! We honestly can't stop talking about our week there - how adorable and spotless it was, how convenient the location was, how much fun we had, how awesome the owners and other guests were. Great location and place to stay !

We had a fantastic time at torch lake and surrounding area this past week . The property is a perfect location at the lake , directly across from the famous sandbar. The owners of the property were amazing as well and the place was extremely clean and newly renovated with a beachy feel . The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and everything needed to make our meals and feel at home . The upper deck was great to sit at and relax and enjoy and even warm up by a fire when nights would get chilly. Everything was wonderful and we’ve made some good friends along the way 😊 thank you for making it such a great stay ! We will be back !!!

Can't Wait to return!!!

We had the best time here! Convenience to everything. Renting the boat on site was a breeze. Loved that you just walk across the street and can enjoy the sandbar if you don't have boat. Kayaks on site were also a breeze to use with the kayak launch. We saw a loon that would swim right next to us! Walk to the River shack for pizza or ice cream or adult slushies is a must! Don't forget your own bath towels tho (we missed that on the description). A quick drive to Alden for some shopping and lunch was great on our cooler day. What a perfect location!!

Relaxing

Great location! The deck was awesome for morning coffee and evening dinner by the fire overlooking the lake. Renting the boat from the owners was super convenient with the boat house out back. Family and friends already requested for us to rent next year.

Perfect location. Great hosts. So much fun.

Such a perfect location on the river with access to boat house and the sandbar right across the street. Owners did such a great job renovating this place for optimal fun, and were available for anything you may need. Party deck was the best!! Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to rent in this area. Option to rent their boats as well so you can really experience the Chain of Lakes.

Torch River cottage

Perfect location on the Torch River across the street from Torch Lake. Boat launch nearby. Two bedroom with comfy bed and updated bathroom. Owners very responsive. We loved our stay and hope to return next year.

Perfect Torch Lake Lodging

You'd be hard pressed to find better lodging for a Torch Lake vacation. Across the street is a little/park beach where you can get a nice view of the lake, play in the water or even walk out to the sandbar. Next to the property is a public launch you can use to launch the provided kayaks to explore in the back canal. As many others have mentioned, the top deck is fantastic for hanging out, grilling, eating, drinking or just enjoying the fire. The owners promised further upgrades in the interior but it was perfectly fine as is. You can tell they care about their property and the experience they are providing with the well-equipped kitchen and decorative touches including indoor plants. We rented both apartments for 6 people. 6 people in one would be very crowded. I'd probably only attempt that with young kids. We lucked out with the weather. Got a little rain/overcast for two days but had warm, sunny weather five days. Lots of memories were made.

Great location at Torch Lake

We loved staying at this rental which was right across the street from the public access to the Torch Lake Sandbar. The rental was also so convenient as it had a boat slip that we could tie up our Pontoon that we rented for the day-so easy to load up coolers and beach bags. The Upper Deck sure was a bonus too with a propane fire pit, bar area and lots of room to play Corn Hole and the Connect Four game they had. The only worry with young kids in our group was that the street was so busy with traffic. Thank you for being wonderful hosts!
