This was our 2nd time staying here, and once again, we had a great experience. It’s always a pleasure dealing with the host. They are very responsive and accommodating. The property is very clean, well-maintained, and nicely updated. The location is perfect, especially being only about a 5 minute boat ride from the sandbar. Our family always enjoys our time here, and we look forward to coming back again!

This property is very well kept and is perfect for large groups. We had 4 adult couples for a long weekend with our boat. Perfect location on the river. We will be back!! Thank you.

Completely enjoyed our stay! Kids loved the pool table while us dads played a lot of shuffleboard! We really liked the garage as a place to store SUP’s, gear for boating. Very close to Sun Life Marina and Sand Bar. House is well appointed with things needed for cooking, grilling, coffee, etc! Loads of space for large parties!! This place won’t disappoint!!!

The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Kay was an amazing host, very responsive, and so kind! The house has well water that was pretty stinky, but that did not ruin our fun! Just something to note. They have filtered water on the sink in the kitchen. We rented a boat from Boat torch and they delivered the boat right to the house, and picked it up at the end of our stay. It was perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Amazing memories were made.

The place was very spacious and well equipped. We did have some issues with the pull out bed, but we're able to navigate though the issues for the weekend.

Great setup

Very nice house and well stocked from cooking items, to towels, to the various games the house was stocked with whatever you could need. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Will come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Kay’s property! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with everything we needed. The location was perfect, and you can tell it’s well cared for. Kay was an absolutely wonderful host—responsive, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. We felt right at home. Highly recommended, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful house and amazing location!

It’s not often that a house looks even BETTER in person than in the pictures. But this house does. The house is beautiful and the porch and backyard are so nice. The house is cozy and makes you feel like you are right at home. I will be recommending this property to all friends and family that are looking to vacation in the Torch Lake/ Elk Lake area. They provided all of the amenities you could possibly need and more!

Beautiful spacious property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The owners have put a lot of thought into making it a great place for one or more families to relax and enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to cook. There are multiple spots to be cozy and watch TV, as well as a small room with a fireplace that’s perfect for reading a book. We got lots of use out of the pool table! This home would be amazing in the summer, too, with a huge backyard and long dock. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!

A Plethora of Fun & Space!This thoughtful floor plan makes for a great family vacation! From the abundance of game choices to the spacious mud room just off the side porch entry, this Torch River house gave us SO many wonderful memories!Our walks toward the river & dock were tranquil & gorgeous, our views of deer playing in the backyard warmed our hearts and our giggly nights of playing several different games brought countless proper belly laughs…and happy tears!The mud room was a welcomed surprise w/ its abundance of space & supplies! Since we love clean laundry, it was nice to do some loads before leaving. Wish I had this space at my own house!Kate was a mindful hostess as she prepped the kitchen w/ a variety of yummy snacks, including some healthy options, and made sure our outdoor toy choices were ready to go!! Kate also made sure our checkout was simple and I SO appreciate this as some other VRBOs are not. Again, thoughtful!I cannot emphasize enough how this VRBO house not only gave our family some of the best memories, but it also gave us the first impression of the Torch Lake area…beautiful, natural and filled w/ nice folks!!Thank you!!

The host is very nice and responded to all our inquiries quickly. We're got there a bit early for check in and he called us as soon as the house was available and let us check in early.
